  1. I was talking to our head mechanic a while back he was telling me a lot of times they have good used take offs he gave me the name and number of our vendor. I have not contacted this guy yet or done anything about it?
  2. We have a couple of Shadetree tire shops in town here cash money I might be able to find something a little bit more good used not to be bad mouthing anybody but container. Haulers are usually Mexican or Iranian around here. I’m thinking might be able to swing a little bit shady deal with one of them ha ha who knows Bob
  3. Excellent are used to get them every year mostly Oakland California Mac dealer when I was running my own truck years back they never get old. Thanks for the post …
  4. OK now I’m getting off subject. Where is Joey when you need him with his knuckle whacking stick??????
  5. Six months of snow in this hell hole. Soon as the weather broke here they all come.
  6. Boy, the hornets should get comfortable on that thing. I just sprayed the hell out of it last weekend open the door to start it and noticed they’re still flying all around it. They’re either tough hornets or I didn’t put enough spray.
  7. Excellent thank you I just walked outside to take another look at them and yes, all eight drives are definitely junk. Even the ones that have a little rubber on them. Funny part last time I put air in them was around 20 years ago and some of them are still rock hard must be magic tubes ha ha.
  8. Thanks for that. I might get away with just eight drive tires for now the steers actually look drivable especially just around town. for now anyway, back ones are pretty much done especially this one. It was throwing rubber. Just driving it around my property a couple of weeks ago. try to download a photo it won’t take ha ha I think you posted that photograph right after you got them. Certainly nice looking tires.
  9. Somebody once asked, why are they called a Mac to stick transmission a married box somebody said oh I don’t know I guess it’s because thier (STUCK) together ahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
  10. Well, you know how it is of course, they do things a lot different these days. Lots of folks meet on the Internet. Then it was easier going through friends or friends and you have questionable taste. I expect she did not realize I was such a pain in the ass and vice versa.
  11. I think what he is trying to say is he doesn’t know why they didn’t use a fifth wheel trailer Bob
  12. I just paid $700 for a brand new Michelin yesterday but that was also a road service vendor. Of course the company paid the bill tires are ridiculous these days.
  13. Well, from what I hear they’re 500 apiece and up I have the same issue I need all 10+ the tubeless rims. I doubt my truck will ever leave town if it ever makes it out of my yard at all so I will be looking for the cheapest shit I could find, as long as the tread is legal
  14. When I started driving, we still had a lot of them around and they didn’t have Maxis if the air leaked out the trailer would roll away when you try to hook to it
  15. That thing is hideous but thanks for the post Dolly Wheel’s now there’s something you don’t see every day and if you do, it’s usually sitting out in a field somewhere a banded lol bob
  16. I don’t blame you. My company is not that tight. I don’t know why they use such garbage on our trailers and Congers. They are blowing out constantly in the summer as I mentioned, we generally don’t have trouble with the drive tires. I don’t know what the difference is.
  17. Me too but again I know almost nothing about Cummins.. although I’ve been running them most all my life… Bob
  18. Yes, they do hold quite a bit. We use them but they’re usually for doubles to contact a Congear to the front trailer.weight usually between 300 -1000 pounds Bob
  19. I’ll be doing it all when I finally get to my DM except the two reupholstered seats and for sure tire change I am not doing them besides, I’m hoping to go to tubeless used container chassis ha ha and Larry. No I would not do that.unless they are tubeless …. I used to repair split rim tube types as a teenager. They are a ball buster.
  20. No, I do not get it either. They’re usually on the back of a dump truck unless I’m misunderstanding.Bob
  21. And yes, the tire was still inflated. The cap just left the tire I was bouncing so bad just to get it to a safe spot. I thought there was a lot more damage possibly DEF tank leaking and tore up. Absolutely no damage except the quarter fender … Bob
  22. I haven’t even seen one in years
  23. Compression release??????? my God bud you’re giving away your age.. lol bob
  24. I’m sure most of the fellows on here or thinking the same thing
  25. I’ll tell you what bud I would be pissing myself if that truck was headed my way. Bob
