  2. I’ll tell you what fellas I have here lately these people are just getting worse I’ve never seen so many people take so many chances the past few months. Glad I’m almost done I can’t handle any more of these stupid people. Bob
  3. Must be the luckiest guy alive, been out there for 48 years never really ran across anything like that except for once I was just there stuck in traffic. I did not walk up to see it was only a couple 100 feet away. Head on with a big rig car driver fell asleep his whole family was with him. I felt so sorry for them. Everybody was fine but the driver was done sucks

    Hello

Welcome aboard bud the fire equipment area is best for that good luck I don’t know anything about them but you might want to go up to 411 I think is what most people use on here.. bob… we need photos
  6. Thanks for that Barry of sure that will be a big help. Bob
  7. Great logic bud thanks for that. I probably won’t even finish the nose this year. Too much work, so yes I will just continue to spray them. Thanks for the hot tip
  8. Sorry I missed this one. There is actually enough on the outside to grab onto but after spraying them numerous times they still will not budge.
  9. Yes, that was my old lady suggested I picked everything up at Home Depot mask full suit and I goggles. I was not wearing them yesterday since I was mainly sanding paint but thanks for your concern. With all that equipment on, I can just keep my good clothes on. I don’t have to switch to work clothes yes,the more I grind the more I find … god dang just this nose is going to be quite the project, my brother… bob
  10. Wow, that’s some rig. Thanks for the post and sorry about your bud … bob

  12. I drove about 360 miles one time to go look at an old Trans con U model nose got down there and there was a big chunk missing from the right side somewhere I thought well hell this thing is no better than mine and I drove home but after digging into this one it’s actually a lot worse that one would gave been a lot easier to fix bob
  13. I was thinking the same thing at first second glance look like an R model
  14. Oh, the good all days. Thanks for that ball.
  15. OK let’s see what happens. OK it’s back to normal. I don’t know what I hit.
  16. yeah Joey, I’m still baffled that I’ve been getting so much work done on it after all these years the more i do the more I want to go further for some reason the letters are not looking, right
  17. Right,,,,,,,,, Beef, ribs on top of that my brother
  18. Nice looking ride bud I have never heard of that model … bob
  19. Well, for some reason, I felt the need to sand the red to at least the green but the red seems to be very strong paint, so I’m not so sure I have to go through to the green that’s about all I am able to do this go around too much tedious work that’s enough for a little. We’re going to have to start winding down more barbecue tonight. Might be time for a beer. Again, this sanding thing is way more work than I thought.
  20. I was thinking of drilling out the bolts after you mentioned that I might just chop a hole in the side and put nuts and washers on the back
  21. That’s a great idea. Thank you for that more sanding yesterday more sanding today … man paint is not coming off as easy as I though what a ball buster … bob
  22. Yes, it is for a real short nose. I drove a white 9000 for nissens years ago same thing fiberglass short nose was very heavy..bob
  23. I forgot to mention in that last paragraph before Covid. The engine crane was $100 cheaper. Auto spell doesn’t want to work right anymore on this phone.
  24. And those two rivets at the top or what I believe holds that chunk of metal in place
