    Also haven’t considered tires blowing out just sitting there on account of age…. I’ll be looking into replacements real soon

    Can be right irritating if you need one little thing and you can’t find it anywhere not sure I think even 40 years ago. It would’ve been a little difficult for.L model body parts… especially without internet…bob

    Yes, it’s amazing. It just turned out to be a small crack until I tried to get rid of the old repair yes I didn’t expect anything to be that big. I’m going to try to tape a chunk of plastic bottles underneath for a template.so to speak I’m done with it for this weekend thanks for the peptalk, Matt

    dont usually pay much attention to these tires,,,actually just noticed yesterday just how bad a couple of them are getting,had to just start laughing,and thought my god,i dont think ive ever seen a tire that shedded in my life,,,, even the steel belts are breaking apart acually drove this truck home 30 years ago when i bought it,,buddy of mine followed me home in my 64 ford pickup bob

    Well, I woke up too late and no energy. Going to get out there and prepare the hole for the fiberglass I think that’s probably all I’ll do with it today but every little bit helps. I could beat the sun. if that’s possible I’ll go ahead and put the first coat on, but I don’t wanna rush anything as I mentioned. I slept a little later. Besides the truck had been neglected for many years. Glad to be out there at all spending a few minutes here and there there certainly better than nothing …Sunday your day of rest so I don’t feel guilty.     I really like the green one over here. The younger generation just buys plain white,Volvo and freight liner Nobody really does anything interesting except for cattle and hay wagons at least around here…. Bob

    Yes, I’m trying to get all that old shit out the last time. I think I rushed through the preparation and they initial first coat didn’t come out right … was was trying to beat the sun. .. all this extra work I did not expect still beats trying to hunt down sheet metal parts that are extinct and if you do find them a fortune and then the shipping is more than the price of the parts.. thanks for that and I appreciate the flowers ha ha that used to be an old CB line duck but I’m sure you’re too young to remember it… bob
