  3. Ok subject changes again ha ha but that’s what this is for found this while I was looking for something else trunk or treat at our church. It was so much fun it was around 10 years ago. Little kids were looking up at me and aaaaaaaawwed custom cost me 80 bucks. It was way worth it. .. and yes, in case you were wondering it was Halloween ha ha… bob

Not sure if I mentioned this, but that cracker box, was the first truck I ever drove in my life I was only 16 and I only drove it around the yard but oh sure hear you about getting to projects we’re all getting older by the minute starting to wonder whether I’m ever gonna get hardly anything done on the one. I have good luck selling your stuff… Bob
  7. Some of these guys just don’t have the operating capital especially at first and hoping nothing big goes wrong and if it does, they’re going to have to figure out the cheapest way to fix it. I am sure you are well aware Joey….. I always love your line a while back just because they’re paying six bucks a gallon for fuel. They expect you to fix their trucks for free, ha ha that’s pretty much the way it is. I ran my old trucks for seven years sure didn’t take long to figure out working for a company is a lot easier. you break down you make a call and go on the clock …. Bob

Well, I worked on it for about 45 minutes but I decided I didn’t have the patience today but yes, I did get a little achieved took a little while to figure out where I left off plus I bought the kit used. Somebody else already started it glued. The rear ends are in backwards so I couldn’t use the air brake pots or the drive line
  9. Ok mechohaulic it’s a lousy day 10 o’clock in the morning decided to pull this down and start glueing a few things I’ve run out of excuses ha ha
  10. before i had a class 1 i used to wrench in a full service gulf station.....customers would drive me nuts doing that......and joey i dont think you could work any cheaper
  11. My uncle had one way way back when I was very young. He didn’t have it long. I think I got rid of it somewhere in the middle 60s they were very interesting I’m not going to say I actually liked them ha ha.. they were certainly nowhere near as ugly as the Volvo… Bob
  12. I did have an HO train set think most of us did ….. I used to see this incredible looked like hand built cars snd trucks from the 40s running around this track somewhere in so cal it was a yearly show,,, this display was just a part of it … I used to stand there for quite a while and watch everything going round and round and I can’t remember where it was or what show … I think it was Pomona fairgrounds….   14. I have never had one, but I was up at a friend of a friends house around 15 years ago his whole garage was full of trucks and buildings and scenery. I was pissing myself.

  23. if this helps last kit i bought was around 1200 bucks ....300 apiece exchange for rebuilt heads....but that was 37 years ago ,,,so probably triple that,,,,and if available????? bob
