  4. Yes I am with you. I haven’t slept on my truck. In 32 years. The one thing I did like about it when you’re done you’re done you don’t have to drive anywhere just crawl in the back. Ha ha.

  6. I was trying to weld a piece of pipe to a chunk of angle iron. For some reason the weld wasn’t sticking to the pipe only the angle iron.

  12. I’ll be redoing the entire real section of my go kart I’m trying to get good enough to attempt welding most of it … bigger engine different axle possibly band or disc brakes
  13. But I’m working with 1/16th steel I understand thinner stuff is harder to work with

Well anyone interested I was able to go out and practice a little bit on my Lincoln welder yesterday weather was gorgeous finally around 200 so I set everything up with some scrap metal and made another attempt still not worth a shit but I think I’m getting slightly better… it’s sure not going anywhere near as fast as I thought I might have to just take a few classes
  15. Oooooooooooo ya power mirror would been the bomb but that was way before anyone was using them our trucks all have them now…. Makes it nice especially when everyone can adjust accordingly when I get back in all I have to do is hit the switch instead of having to get out 40 times to find the right spot
  16. My first tractor-trailer job nissens bakery Lynn Massachusetts. They tore down the building a few years ago. Kind of sad lots of good memories. It was a really good job teamsters . It was kind of strange . Once de regulation hit our business went down to a crawl I was hardly working . That’s when I move to California..

  18. One of my first trucking jobs and California. It was a really fun job but It didn’t pay anything.
  19. I did blindside a 45 footer into a hole F model sleeper cab, two shots. I did get out and look once to make sure I was lined up and not going to hit anything bunch of guys watching. I got out padding myself on the back they were all aawwed over this . I didn’t tell them I just got lucky.I was only around 25 haha bob

I did lose an outer tire rim cracked all around bolt pattern and fell off some where strange thing a buddy was following me entire night we were bullshitten on the radio he said he never saw it come off so yes Paul even with proper pre trip shit still happens that was around 25 years ago .., Bob

  25. Yes, I guess it was just bad lighting. It almost looks like really light olive and yes, at least you got all kinds of choices for the floors. I did like some of those pick up truck designs myself. Good luck…. Bob
