  4. That guy is hilarious. Thanks for that. I think that’s the same guy that said you couldn’t tell if you’re a redneck if you have six cars and the only thing mobile is your home.
  5. Funny thing when we were back in our 20s we never thought we were going to get there now here it is I guess it’s faster than you think Bob
  6. Come to think of it that’s where my old Taurus wound up I sold the car real right to my wife’s friend and it went right on a car carrier to Kentucky probably cost more to ship it than what I sold it for
  7. That’s if they don’t shoot me for stepping onto their property ha ha
  8. There’s a world war two jeep metal cab top just down the street from me. I have probably mentioned it a time or two I have to pass this thing twice a day and has been sitting there for 17 years that I know of I know of if I stop in and ask about it, they were tell me to get lost
  9. Yes sir that makes perfect sense and down there or they’re probably in pretty good shape sheet-metal wise
  10. That this story was hilarious Bubba and yes they do not sound very appealing to me either color wise. Perfect for the camper. No wait a minute here. How old is this camper? I thought it was brand new. I’m confused about the loose cabinet doors.
  11. Wow man that’s some luck Great deal. I still have a checked with her local truck tire shop yet. I guess I’m still not ready. Just kind of curious if they have what I want I will go down there and buy them. although truck is not anywhere near ready to roll ha ha

  13. That’s very interesting. I had not thought of that but back in those days the LT was definitely better looking than Peterbilt or Kenworth and my opinion. …. Bob
  14. I am hoping to get rid of all of my split rims when I do change all 10 at 67 years old those things just make me really nervous, especially being as old as they are all you need is a little hairline crack
  15. Excellent that’s pretty much a great deal I would go for that. I probably mentioned I used to change those back when I was a teenager from jacking the truck up repaired tube to letting it down 15 minutes . Now I know I cannot do that now. Take me 15 minutes to dig out the jack. Ha ha.
  16. Nice looking ride Thanks for the post.
  17. Like how many businesses will just let you go around the back and look around these days employees only you can’t go back there ha ha
  18. Might be getting a little off the subject but I used to do business with a lawnmower shop right here close old timer been dealing with small engine since 1959. Sometimes I would just go in there to bullshit even if I didn’t need anything, he sold the place now I don’t even mess with the only other supply house they’re crooks. I just order everything over the Internet. We had two other cool mower shops all three of them pretty much sold out and retired. I think bottom line I’m trying to get at most of the hospitality is gone as well .. I would rather just go through the computer. I have had very good luck with Jack’s mower parts. They were in the Midwest someplace.
  19. Right on man, best wishes fellas, and hope you have a swinging time . Even if it’s just on here, my sister’s birthday was yesterday turn 65 hard to believe but I can remember talking to that little pipsqueak around 1964 how the he’ll did she get so old so fast ha ha enjoy fellas .. Bob
  20. Well, the hillbillies around here never want to sell anything. It just sits in their yards for years and years.
  21. I probably mentioned I try to sell my DM a couple of times around here. No takers at all. I think a B model might have a better shot here.
