    Well I was planning on messing with the DM but wound up helping out setting up a barbecue and attending which turned out to be mainly chicks lol .. turned out very worth the effort lol bob

    Also probably why Rob thought it was a single axle the way you explained it six Wheel truck dual drive 607 straight frame very interesting … hung around in Mac dealerships from 83 to 90. When I ran my own truck that was about it. I went to work for somebody after that but I saw quite a few of those brochures ordinarily hanging on the wall show room or parts department

    I haven’t been out there. I just barely woke up drinking coffee. I was even thinking, maybe the screws were mainly rusted to the catch piece is the reason they all broke

    I was thinking the same thing Joey maybe after I get the part off I can spray the hell out of the studs and keep tapping them around. I might be able to save them just take my time you know what I mean also so I thought the same thing about replacing with pop rivets I have a gun I don’t think I’ve used it in 40 years Sears and roebucks craftsman when they were going strong and we bought everything from them bought it around 1973 now I’m starting to wonder if I know where it is.     Not sure if I mentioned, I broke all three screws on one of the hood latch catches ha ha that’s when I decided to go back in the house let it all alone for a while. I looked at those screws and kinda knew that was gonna happen before it even touched them.
