Wow that’s very interesting thanks for that no I did not know that.., tell you the truth I’ve only actually seen one in my life as far as actually looking under the truck somebody had one out one time I was considering buying it for my DM since the top end I s only 55 but who knows if that damn truck will ever see the street ha ha why wife doesn’t think so I’m starting to wonder myself .. bob

  10. i like your explanation all though i always moved the main first even down shifting by the time you get it in your RPMs are right where they belong on a long grade but yes we probably got him real confused now for recreational...he will probably need any of the auxiliary anyway,,,also i thought brownie was slang for browning very interesting ..bob

  14. Not sure if I mentioned a real soft spot for that truck it was the first Mack I ever drove at 17 same exact set up but it was a trash truck with a leech rear Hopper trash truck mine had a 15 speed in it maybe yours does too Bob

I would suggest that you sprayed for hornets They set up camp in my DM every year on the clock ha ha that thing looks amazing best of luck to you partner you’re really not going to need a whole lot to get her in shape from what I see the truck is in a lot better shape than mine is… mine needs a lot of work but thank God it’s all a lot of small stuff just mainly elbow grease bob

Most of us have weird issues when the trucks sit around a long time I had a cat living in mine around 20 years ago I had the doghouse off for a while I have since put it in still got lots of bees flying around it’s starting to be there a season are usually have to spray the hell out of it this time of year to get rid of them I think they mostly live up in the headliner … bob

  23. Yes I really like that U model I sold it back to Oakland California Mac dealer in 1990 and decided to go back to work for somebody that’s sub hauler business was rougher than I thought
  24. I’m surprised it didn’t sink down it looks like my backyard I can’t even move my DM when it looks like that it will sink right on the sand
