  1. Absolutely I was going to add something to that story I mentioned about somebody found a bunch of old 50s cars in a warehouse buried for years got me to thinking about almost 40 years ago. I was rapping with a guy and Oakland California that bought one of those World War II CJ four jeeps this thing was absolute tits.everything . brand new old stock But he was telling me the only problem he has. It is just about every oil seal on there leaks at that time. The parts were all 40 years old. I’m thinking that’s what you would find with the cars that have been stored since 1965…. Bob
  2. He’s probably a shyster ha ha
  3. Those things are very rare these days, although still out there somewhere they just found a bunch of old cars here recently somewhere that has been in storage Since the middle 60s nothing had moved tons of dust on all of them Bob

  14. Like this fellow says, I’m sick of shifting these things also … these automatic transmissions, came along at the right time… Bob
  15. Yes, I didn’t even really notice that till recently. We do our swapping at a pilot truckstop and it’s uphill to drive out of there. I watch trucks pulling out all the time. Can’t really hear any of their engines.
  16. TJ you are the best ha ha …. Kind of weird, broken in on a 2,stick and now you don’t have to shift them at all. Bob
  17. Or it might’ve just been an off night for them Bob
  18. Wow, that’s a small world. He used to be on here a little bit more often but a lot of guys disappeared. Not really sure what happened and yes he’s a wheeler and dealer .. that entire dining experience included nothing but auto and truck conversation. Great time. The food wasn’t as good as I remembered the restaurant was my choice. Don’t last time I went through the food was out of this world Jumper said they recently changed hands so that’s probably why .. Bob

  25. My wife enjoys the truck shows, but not the cars. That’s kind of a weird story behind that. I am not going to spoil the conversation with ha ha she used to go with me all the time, but we have two little dogs that need attention and I have to fly so It’s easier for me to go by myself out there Bob
