  1. Oh, forgot to mention our supermarket is also right in there. It’s a huge area with all kinds of retail, pet shop supplies, clothes shoes.
  2. Yeah, that doesn’t surprise me at all. We’ve got so many cars here now and everybody is in a big old hurry. This place is absolutely horrible speeding tailgating illegal passing running lights. It’s ridiculous here. I really don’t even like to drive anywhere I’ve mentioned before I only take my car out three times a week to the gym 5 miles each way and I hate even doing that. Fortunately, most of my business is on the way to the gym Home Depot FedEx shipping dentist. It’s all in the same area. As well as many restaurants we would like to trade with I feel your pain Dave. I ran down into LA many years and believe it or not with all the traffic they have down there. I had more incidents up here very glad to be done with roadwork.
  3. I’ve had very good luck with reception on the back of the cab or the passenger door these days with all the plastic it’s a little bit more difficult than it used to be our Peterbilts have a pigeon perch on both sides above the doors, makes it very easy to hook the cable and antenna up and run ithe cord through the door weatherstripping kind of hard to explain without being there to point out what I’m talking about
  4. I am not sure what to tell you I used to run a lot of CB radios. If it looks like it’s too difficult you might wanna just run it in the back of your cab. There’s lots of us that used to mount them on the slide bar where your airlines hang from Above the back window or just bolt the bracket to the back of the air shield and run your cord through the window, insulation side door and tuck it into the ceiling panel. But wherever you mount the antenna, the bracket has to be grounded on steel. You might need to run a ground strap from a bracket to wherever you can find anything steel back of air shells usually has both going into the cab. You can put the ground strap on one of those bolts. Good luck. Bob.
  5. Same here Paul it’s only been a few years where I started any serious precautions first 60 or so years I did absolutely nothing to take care of myself.. but after retirement, my blood pressure dropped almost 30 points and I cut way back on Booze a few months ago

  10. I was tapping that side cover a bit if you really need to know Dave but thanks for your interest and yes, it is brand new by the way not so much the steering box but there is a little bit of history behind the brand new hammer ha ha keep you guessing
  11. lol yes … a superliner is going to look good any color but I would guess black or burgundy would turn more heads if that’s what you’re looking for possibly candy apple blue .. good luck
  12. Wow, thanks for that. That was heavy. I usually don’t care to read anything that long but for some reason, I took the time to go through that one thanks for that Paul that was a lovely story.
  13. I’m wondering if that was the one that I couldn’t figure out what he was doing wrong and what everybody was looking at
  14. I was thinking of that guy a little while ago and that’s just what I was thinking uh oh I got competition in this now and yes, I wound up pulling the sector. Shaft cover back off.because i set it down on its side and lost the center point uuuuuuuuuurrrrr I could’ve had the box completely together, but I forgot to dip one of the pieces so I had to throw it in the solvent and let it soak. I’ve already been dragging my ass on this job. Another few days is not going to make any difference.
  15. Hopefully, we’ll all be here. Almost missed this one. Thanks for all the photos Dean.

  21. They were back there. I used to see them when I was working for Nissans Straight R models no goodies spoke wheels I know they used to run to Syracuse out of Massachusetts someplace I’m pretty sure they were beige. I used to work with a guy that worked for them. He said they didn’t take very good care of their trucks. Their equipment was mostly rundown pretty good. that’s about all I’ve got on them. I tried to look them up. I could not find them.
  22. I’ve said before they don’t do anything to these thugs here it’s no w wonder We have such an issue 3 hots and a cot for mass murder… that’s not a punishment it’s a reward …. My town is getting the same way …. And we need more cops and the town can’t find enough decent recruits…. Bob
