not sure if this helps,,,,these doors originally had the later door latch,,,and as you can see old latch fit right in

There was somebody on here recently that was saying he was having trouble trying to match one to the other. I don’t know. I did not have any trouble at all as I mentioned the older stuff fit right in there and the doors close fine

Well, it originally came with a single longhorn through the year as I put a set of double trumpets on it I like the way they sound a little bit better, but I decided that I like the way the single horn looks that it originally had a while back. I messaged Barry and he told me he did not have any at the time, but he’s checking into ordering more because he’s still getting a big demand for them and about a month later he messaged me that they came in. I guess he had to find a different vendor that was manufacturing them I really wasn’t anywhere near using those parts, but I wanted to grab them while they were available I might have to just jump on that roof. Sometime next spring, any improvements would make it look a little better than it does

I don’t know when they changed the style, but I have later model doors on my DM and the old style latches fit right in. I think they’re around 1982 Ish but no I do not know the answer to your question.
