Be careful you know you have to cage the spring before you do anything but when you do that, the wheels should turn. Maybe you’re a shoes are just rusted to the rim. Good luck.

Well, I can’t figure out your issue but limited slip rear ends operate that way if you jack your car up and spin the wheels, they will do the same thing

well got it loose letting all the oil come out with a couple bolts still in it loose,and yes retired i thought i had all day to mess with this truck,,,,seems most days i got something going on,or multiple stuff...tomorrow eye appt -

Hadda bunch of running around to do this morning just had lunch I’ll be pulling that end cap off in a little while so far it’s looking like I might have some pretty good weather to knock out bunch of that fiberglass seems now i gotta hope somebody has a new seal for the rearend
