  1. Don’t forget condensation and surface rust buildup in the cylinders as well it’s a good practice to oil everything if nothing else to be on the safe side… bob

  5. Any glass shop can cut them I got one for an R model right there in the valley somewhere but that was almost 40 years ago they actually had one already cut .. bob

  9. Yes last 64 galaxy I looked at was in 1973 guy only wanted 35 bucks the engine was smoking now they want 20,000 for the same car unrestored needing attention crazy prices

  15. And TJ this is the only photo I have of the car that I know of or at least that I can find I guess what I said the car was immaculate I meant the body was rust free From what I remember the interior was in pretty good shape. Bob

It was pretty clean for its age it really didn’t need anything except a paint job another vehicle I had trouble getting rid of I wound up trading it even for a Yamaha 1100 pretty much the old only way I could get rid of it but that’s my life story it seems like every time I try to sell anything nobody wants it not sure what’s up with that… bob

I also had a 57 two-door wagon 312 automatic paid 700 for it and 83 wife wanted a 64 Thunderbird that was for sale so we tried to unload the wagon and I couldn’t get anything for it wound up selling it to a junkyard for like 250 I don’t know what the problem was nobody wanted it Southern California car was immaculate

  24. I have never seen one of those plastic gauge plates I have the steel parts somewhere if you need them I’m not sure if I can find them amongst all my shit .. Bob
