Yes, I remember buying a ball and an extension at a truckstop in Ontario California now a truckstop store looks like 7-Eleven nothing but sugar and salt. Ha ha. Funny thing most of them are packed with CB supplies and I don’t think the owners even realize nobody even wants that shit anymore.

Yes,same here here bud. I never really paid much attention to them either but now that they’re extinct all of a sudden they get a peeling. Again they were along with F model Mack’s and of course we were mainly staring at them that’s the way it is with me with the 64 galaxy when you could buy them for nothing all day long I wasn’t really focused on them. …: bob

I have some old truck wheel cylinders i found years ago in the trash old company I worked for I took them home thinking they would probably come in handy sometime. I will post photos soon. It’s snowing out now here I don’t want to go outside.Bob

I quit messing with old Chevys years ago on account of the same reason outpriced themselves …. They took all the excitement out of it.. glad my Mack doesn’t really need a whole lot except little stuff mainly just alotta work that doesn’t cost anything

You can even keep it in manual mode and shift up and down manually with a switch

Haha got to agree that’s about the only thing is irritating is coming to a rolling stop have to wait for transmission to decide what it wants to do but all our trucks have up and down switches you can decide what you want most of the time

I haven’t adjusted a break in 33 years jobs usually have work shop with mechanics that do i check brake shoes on Congers before I picked them up. I’m surprised never noticed that. Oooooooooooo you mean big old wierd fat man stuck on the past… Bob

Yes I am with you. I haven’t slept on my truck. In 32 years. The one thing I did like about it when you’re done you’re done you don’t have to drive anywhere just crawl in the back. Ha ha.

Ha ha I can appreciate that although I didn’t think I was going to like the automatic …. Now I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread but I did shift trucks for around 44 years. Bob
