  2. Yes I was never really a big fan of them either I almost bought one back in 86 I don’t know why I changed my mind but I wound up with a cruise lighter instead I think because it was only a single axle I wanted a twin drive I think that’s the same with most of us that are into the R model
  3. Prior to that I had a 350 Thermodyne that engine was a lot healthier pull the hills a lot better … Also thanks for that information on the 300 plus I never really knew anything about them either except they were pretty good engine performance wise… Bob
  4. I ran a 300 four valve In A U model I thought the engine was a dog and it sounded like shit did not sound like a Mac engine at all … bob

Excellent bud thanks for sharing you didn’t mention anything about squeaks the rattles so yes I think you’re in like flint all that work certainly paid off … as far as DMV we have a same thing here they just built a brand new huge facility people tell me they still have to wait in line for hours just to get to a teller I haven’t been down there in a long time my vehicles are of late models and I just send the registration through the Internet anyway great job bud Have a ball … bob

  16. Well I have done almost nothing but sit and sit and sit in these trucks for long long time I am surprised I haven’t got any issues I walk and ride a bicycle anytime I get a chance to try to stay this way … Bob

  21. Don’t forget condensation and surface rust buildup in the cylinders as well it’s a good practice to oil everything if nothing else to be on the safe side… bob

  25. Any glass shop can cut them I got one for an R model right there in the valley somewhere but that was almost 40 years ago they actually had one already cut .. bob
