Thanks for that Paul I was pretty much the same way I am broken with truck drivers that started with chain drives and two of my uncle’s were auto and truck mechanics with thier own shop and yes, I was a typical smart ass teenager like most young guys, but I was always all ears when I was around these older fellows … Bob

  12. Last one was a 53 Chevy flatbed 350 bucks sold it to a pal for 500 he was bugging me to tears to sell it .. Bob
  13. I think I paid 750 for the first one 51 cleaned it up a bit and traded with a friend that wanted it he gave his 75 f100 I sold it for 1400 one of the only deals I ever made money on lol bob

  23. yeah we have a whole town here full of houses like that 15 vehicles in thier yard they do absolutely nothing with any of them,,,but nothing for sale,,,thiers a ww2 jeep down the street from me ive been driving by it for 16 years, hasnt moved been dieing to run in there and see if possible sale,but i know damn well he will tell to get lost...bob
  24. i ran a 237 maxidyne years ago,,,,and a buddy of mine had the 285 man i couldnt believe the differance in power,he used to go right by me on the hills with that truck he had a cruiseliner..bob
  25. funny thing was i paid $1,600 for it gladly ,,,bone stock original condition....i decided to get rid of it because it had the traditional farm tractor 50 mph rearend and i was moving trying to lighten the load,,,you you believe back in 1986....i couldnt give that thing away,,,,wound up trading someone for a yamaha 1100 straight across.then i couldnt unload the yamaha,,would up trading back for 59 chevy flatbed.....strange things happen sometimes...bob
