    well i have one and the 4th speed direct gear was stripped,they tell me it was a common issue with them,,,,,apparently mainly driver era,,,,but thats after many years,,,im replacing it with a 20 speed ....but yes all mack transmissions are very tough have a ball,bud...bob

    amazing progress matt....thanks for all your updates.....had mine 28 years now,,,hardly looks any differant....funny thing,,,you posted that video shifting those 2 sticks....most of us were pissing ourselves,,,,and im sure these days,most of these young kids are glad thier all automatics now,,, i got my licence on a 2 stick U model...not many people can say that now......bob

    yes i was just trying to buff out the hood on my pickup,and the entire thing blew up in my face the compound was drying the second i started,,,,,now it looks worse than it was since its all stuck on now...didnt realize it was so hot...bob

    Don’t know anything about them and can’t make much of a comment seems to me in most cases of people are ready to turn them in they probably been rode hard and put away wet all I got is if you’re not in a hurry I would try to buy one from a state sale probably best bet … good luck.. bob
