  3. Well that’s the plan anyway I don’t think I’ll have much of a problem container chassis still use them 20 spokes And there is lots of them around and I am sure these days it’s a lot easier to find solid rims especially out here.Oooooooooooo by the was I’m not expecting to get them cheap... bob
  4. In fact my DM has 2 piece and it needs all 10 tires... I’m hoping to replace them with solid tubeless rims ... bob
  5. Oooooooooooo no offense taken.. my man ..... was just trying to figure out why you thought 3 was safer.... I’ve done a lot of them both.... you have to be very careful putting them both together,, from what I remember seems the 3 piece were mainly used on 1100 - 1200 24s 1000-20 were all 2 piece.... bob
  6. Not sure what you meant by confusing....: I’ve worked with hundreds of 2/3 piece rims .... thier pretty much both widow makers .... bob
  7. Yes it’s hard work.... solid wheels are a little easier...... I wound up getting canned over arguing with a customer with a car..typical smartass teenage kid... truck tire shop... but they did a few passenger tires ...... bob
  8. Not sure about it..... it seems all the mountain roads I have to deal with on my route still suck just as bad year after year... in fact, that’s one thing I’m not going to miss after retirement... sliding all over the road set of joints ..... I’ll be in bed sleeping in stead.... lol .. bob

I remember when they first came around... we were on vacation in Florida,,, I was 15 and I was watching a couple of guys delivering soda with one somewhere in Jacksonville I was pissing myself and a little jealous that I was too young to be a part of thier operation they were sitting at a traffic light... and I was wishing I were them ... bob
