  3. Hell, you got one up on me I’ve never even heard of that model. Good luck to you bud. Sounds like they got a plug-in to the dashboard with a computer. You might wind up taking it to the dealer. I’m sure it’s a small fix.

  9. But yes, then again they are very powerful compared to the slugs. We had a few years ago shift and shift and shift doesn’t change the fact you only got 180 hp.
  10. lol I feel your pain I trained on a steel dash U model and broke in on a steel dash R model-these trucks these days all I can say is there a lot more comfortable and quiet and that’s about it… bob
  11. Those things were really big back in the day. People are still using them now, my uncle had them on all of his Brockways but sorry I don’t know what to tell you I don’t think. They were part of the build. I wanna say they’re aftermarket, but I am not sure somebody else will probably chime in good luck. … bob

  14. That sucks my first rebuilt. I put the hill holder in backwards, so it would only go in reverse. Luckily, it was all in the tail shaft. I did not have to pull the entire unit apart just the tail section.
  15. I believe the picture is distorted. That’s really weird looking. I’m thinking it’s an Australian CH model.
  16. I just assumed it was a torque converter, spinning fast enough to turn the engine over but then again I guess something has to spin the converter I have rebuilt a few myself. I can only remember one front pump on all of them one Cadillac three Fords

  18. TJ I did the same thing with a 62 impala years ago I had someone push me just out if curiosity… just like you explained… it worked
  19. Brocky I remember when I used to do that with the new ones a few years ago I haven’t really noticed that practice lately I’m sure pulling the driveline is alot cleaner

  21. Ha ha, touché on the real job my parents trying to tell me the same thing and my pup was a union Freight hauler. They used to preach the same thing.
  22. I heard a long time ago alotta transmissions don’t get oiled in neutral … a couple years ago we saw an import pickup on a car dolly … rearend locked up somehow burnt both back tires clean off and was scraping both rims when the guys pulled over I’m not sure what happened there

  24. lol … I’m starting to see a few new cabs around here but thier all Volvo.. but I hardly go anywhere and I never usually hit the interstate anymore ,,, I do see tons of MDs around here… bob
