  2. Yeah, that collects linkage is definitely dynamite. Fantastic work Larry hats off bob
  3. I was gonna say the same thing there’s nothing wrong with overthinking and taking your time especially with the stuff that really doesn’t have to move. If you’re not sure about something it’s going to eat you alive if you didn’t do anything about it pulling the pan as a fantastic idea. That way you can take a look at everything in there.
  4. Joey, I’ve had many old old cars in my time and it seems like those older engines had just about that same oil pressure. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it at all as far as oil pressure goes
  5. And yes, geoff from what I hear oil has come a long way

  15. But yes, then again they are very powerful compared to the slugs. We had a few years ago shift and shift and shift doesn’t change the fact you only got 180 hp.
  16. lol I feel your pain I trained on a steel dash U model and broke in on a steel dash R model-these trucks these days all I can say is there a lot more comfortable and quiet and that’s about it… bob
  17. Those things were really big back in the day. People are still using them now, my uncle had them on all of his Brockways but sorry I don’t know what to tell you I don’t think. They were part of the build. I wanna say they’re aftermarket, but I am not sure somebody else will probably chime in good luck. … bob

  19. I think somebody took us off track it used to be H model Mack’s lol oh well Joey let’s hear it
  20. That sucks my first rebuilt. I put the hill holder in backwards, so it would only go in reverse. Luckily, it was all in the tail shaft. I did not have to pull the entire unit apart just the tail section.
  21. I believe the picture is distorted. That’s really weird looking. I’m thinking it’s an Australian CH model.
  22. I just assumed it was a torque converter, spinning fast enough to turn the engine over but then again I guess something has to spin the converter I have rebuilt a few myself. I can only remember one front pump on all of them one Cadillac three Fords
  23. That was excellent just the way it is
