That’s very interesting Not sure if you knew this but I worked in a tire shop way back in 73 did mostly big rigs but almost all of our customers at 10:20 split rims I would only see the bigger ones on up construction equipment my mind is slipping but I would’ve sworn we had a few customers with 1200/24I can’t remember but there wasn’t that many of them even back then. … I’ll tell you what man that’s a rough way to go especially for a skinny little kid I looked like Charles Atlas after a few weeks of swinging that tire hammer

Oh they’re gods gift to mankind that’s how I learned automatic transmission but a manual at Chief auto parts years and years ago yes sir it’s still in pretty good shape and yes no fingerprints either ha ha…. I even have one for a Briggs & Stratton and they really get down with the fine print and detail Bob

Get this I hooked up one of my welders and started playing with a chunk of sheet metal burning holes thru the steel and overbeading and lotsa rod sticking spent alotta time messing around pretty quick i noticed I was getting addicted to this and couldn’t put it down until I got it somewhat together lol going out this morning to have some more fun .. also noticed the more I do the better I’m getting at it…Bob

Well that sucker is in really good shape I would love to have it but I already decided to change the color of my interior since I got a perfect brown one I am sure you won’t have any trouble getting rid of it….. But yes I will definitely take it off your hands if there is no takers . I didn’t think it was gonna fit but I thought it might be possible. bob

Ya same here old age and Covid while back mind is going fast but yes seems the lighter green was shinier dark green was definitely flat I often wondered if they used the military green and as far as interior kits I also like them but I think most of us prefer the ready to work look . Also the darker green steering wheel was my favorite all all of them especially the bad ass horn button I wish I could find one green center with the bulldog.. Bob

Yes I was thinking the same thing the guy probably bucks in there all the time and knows exactly where to start Cutting it so on so forth besides the fact that’s pretty much the only way you can get in there I think we’ve all had doors like that there were almost impossible to get into May company downtown Los Angeles I’m sure Some of you are familiar with it
  19. i kind of have the same doubts .....i bought a quadbox out of a B model 25 years ago for my DM,,,it was all rebuilt 350 bucks its still sitting on a pallet behind my house and i still dont know if its going to bolt up,,,,reminds me of old jonny cash tune,,went to put the bolts in,and all the holes were gone...lol.bob
  20. Not sure about the max on our kenworths all you have to do is pull out the plug and the light will go off I don’t recommend it but it will get you through until you have time to fix it .. Bob
