  1. thats funny about the headlights,,,ive been in situations like that...in fact when i was driving back to the hotel for the last time in macungie last year i came out of a food mart and it starting pouring buckets also two lane cars behind me i couldnt see anything,,,and i couldnt find wiper switch in the rental...i was Freking out...also i never had a brand new truck untill around 8 years ago
  2. we used to have a machine,,,back in the tireshop days had 2 big steel wheels that would angle in right where you needed them,,on hydraulics,,,,,and spin the tire at the same time,,,,it was a magic machine for stubborn split rims,,,but that was 52 years ago and 3000 miles from here,,,,bob

  4. aaahh the good old days,when we got to drive real trucks,,,,i never spent much time in those cabovers,,,,but i did drive one as a loaner a few nights,,,,mostly remember how hard that thing was to steer manuel steering i you werent rolling atleast 3-4 mph,,,i couldnt even move the wheel....it was a 1970 350 cummins,,,,was actually the first time i ever used a jake brake,and yes tom,,,,i like the chick,,,,bob

  9. Well, I never thought of that. Paul seems when I’m working. I don’t really notice it but just standing still I seem to get hotter. That’s very interesting. Took everything to the dump a little while ago. Now I’ve got to do an errand and then come back and mess with my tree Water drip system always something.

  16. ok all ready to go,,,,drilling the rim wasnt working not sure what happened,,,,drill would go right thru rim and stop short when it got to the bead wound up dowsing rim with WD 40 and just keep working it,broke loose after just a few more hits,,,heat doesn’t bother me a whole lot but i have sweat pouring down my face if its too hot ,,,,mrs mower turned me on to these sweat bands,,,,you soak them with cold water,,,,and they kool you conciderably,,,hopefully jump back on the box around wednesday

Hippy ,,, confused about manufacturing and service hourly rate I’m seeing 35 an hour for plant jobs versus trying to survive on 13 an hour cashier in 7-11 those penny anny positions used to be held by high.school kids and spouses trying to help out .. instead people are trying to raise a family on it nowadays… let’s hope some of these plans actually make a difference and fast .. bob
