    I think when Mack designed those trucks they thought most of us were going to like them instead of shifting them all night but it turns out it seems most of us didn’t care for them at all : If we could’ve dropped half a gear up most of the Hills we would’ve been a lot happier.: bob

    I had a 62 beach wagon years ago with a 390 automatic got a real right in 1990 with a bad transmission fixed the transmission and sold the car I am still kicking myself in the ass for getting rid of it I wish I had it back…. 78,000 miles original owner what a stupid move getting rid of it… Bob

    Well my dream car is a 64 galaxy I don’t think I’ll ever have one but they are just a boat as expensive I remember when I was a teenage kid you could buy them all day long for $100 and besides this town is getting so crowded and so many stupid drivers I would feel better driving around in a restored big rig ..     I have done it with lacquer thinner before… but the oven cleaner is probably a lot less worrisome ha ha bob

    Yes I don’t blame you a bit if you pull a lot of grades you wind up with the engine screaming most of the time and you can’t go up another gear I used to run one I hated it ha ha good luck… bob

    As far as team drivers go I did a little of that back in 1990 didn’t care for it I had pretty good luck with most of the guys but they did hook me up with some real idiots sometimes Bob
