  1. Not sure about it..... it seems all the mountain roads I have to deal with on my route still suck just as bad year after year... in fact, that’s one thing I’m not going to miss after retirement... sliding all over the road set of joints ..... I’ll be in bed sleeping in stead.... lol .. bob

  4. I drove one like that Wayback in 1980 and had a gas job I actually liked it the way It drove..... had a huge steering wheel ... it was a trash truck compactor rear hopper... bob

I remember when they first came around... we were on vacation in Florida,,, I was 15 and I was watching a couple of guys delivering soda with one somewhere in Jacksonville I was pissing myself and a little jealous that I was too young to be a part of thier operation they were sitting at a traffic light... and I was wishing I were them ... bob

  17. I have a 1983 motor manual I can pull out if nobody can figure it out... and yes Larry,,,, I had forgotten the starter oiler was tapped into returning line .... thanks for that... bob

I guess I kind of got the wrong impression too as well....:you didn’t want to waste 200 dollars on a dead horseI might as well throw in the towel i’ve already thrown how about $2500 and my DM and I’ve barely even made a dent in it not including the purchase price.....: I guess we’re just making sure we’re all on the same page... bob

  23. It was originally 24 V electric starter but since mine does not have an oiler are usually just pull off the inlet line and shoot Jack oil in the starter once in a while.... bob
  24. That’s what kenworth dealer parts man told me years ago .... air starter was lubricated by diesel fuel line .... my truck doesn’t have one because I added the air start ... bob
  25. Maybe some sort of high pressure relief valve not sure of the hand lever with pressure spring????????? Bob
