Sorry can’t help you but it does look like a Late 70s early 80s box back then Mac parts man told me Mack likes to put their own part numbers on everything and change it from the original manufacturers number That’s the reason there’s two different numbers I know that’s not much help but that’s all I got … Napa is usually everybody’s last resort bob

OK so it looks like they’re mainly off to work on it easier wow I didn’t think it really needed anything I thought it was mainly ready to go are used to own a cruise liner years ago and it seems like that was the same way not extremely difficult to get in and out of but it wasn’t easy and I was only back in my 20s then … Bob

  5. Same here man one of these days I’m going to grab a bunch of scrap metal and just start getting some good practice I watched a bunch of utube videos a while back they are very helpful… since frankly I know nothing about it… Bob

  11. i had a R model years ago but it was a 73 and didnt even have a lock switch...they were both limited slip...they might have changed that after awhile..bob

You know now that I think about it those things were so hefty I am surprised a lot of them were not all wheel drive they actually look like they should be I have a model of one I bought 20 years ago and only finished maybe 1/3 of it the rest of it is still sitting in the box interested in finishing it one of these days ha ha ..   15. Also make sure you pump up the hand pump on the fuel line Make sure all the air is out otherwise it’s not going to start

After sitting all that time I would remove all the injectors and shoot a bunch of mystery oil into the cylinders And let it sit a few days also remove the top oil line to turbo charger and shoot down there also and make sure pull off the shroud and spin the turbo charger several times by hand and make sure it is free and not Frozen before you do anything else good luck

  18. Ya There is no way I would attempt that broke down in the middle of nowhere trying to rustle up obsoletes parts absolutely nobody has losing work Stuck in a hotel for days hoping somebody finds something somewhere getting it towed off the freeway too much stuff to go sour… Bob
