  3. i wasnt going to put a negative spin on this ....but cant help but post....these days able bodied grown men,seem to prefer sitting in starbucks,,playing with thier phones..lol.bob
  4. god love him....thats the way older generation operates.....when theres work to be done...they do it...my pop was pretty much the same way....raised during the depression....they were generally a little differant,than what you see today.........bob
  5. it was a pretty healthy engine in its time i used to run one,in the 80s...it wall certainly do the job..good luck.bob
  6. It’s a lot more fun when you don’t have to work in it and you’re a kid I had to shovel yesterday for a couple of hours while the next-door neighbor kids were giggling and laughing next-door ha ha bob
  7. my cousin lives there....born and raised same house,and he still lives in it.that area has certainly got crowded,,,compared to when i was a kid in the 60s...bob

  10. i used to go in there with my pop,in the 60s,he drove for beacon fast freight.. place was way cool back then full of nothing but real truck drivers....and yes i am also surprized its still there,,,now probably full of sweat pants and flip flops...and yes you must be pissing yourself,with that good looking rig at home now...bob
  11. Hell I appreciate that story. I had a 1970 Chevy pick up with a snowplow on it but then I wasn’t too concerned about getting around we were living in a trailer park at the time temporary me and my pop I drove up in front of the place and switched with my dad who was stuck in the trailer Snow was 20 feet high from snow blowers we both walked over the snowbank I was going to bed my dad was stir crazy and had to get out of a while ha ha... bob

  14. Yes it’s sucked I was driving for nissens bakery I think we were only off for one night since we had perishables that everybody needed but what I remember mostly as the streets were wide open for us all cars banned for a few days and people were walking everywhere for groceries... bob

  16. She came out real good I don’t necessarily think it matches anything but I do like the design by the way our birthdays are the same day ha ha.bob
  17. Actually steers pretty sharp to the left but the right doesn’t steer sharp at all ... bob
  18. My DM steers the same way but it has power steering Kind of surprising for a 66.... bob

  20. sorry cant help you but i would talk to autozone,,,and have them send it out..unless of coarse you have a local established auto parts...here in reno thier all gone. no one has any choices but chain stores,or dealership...good luck...bob
  21. its certainly a fine looking rig....although a little unusual.....here,,but it certainly beats the hell out of that ugly volvo i was stuck in for 2 years.bob
