  1. as i mentioned too long ago to remember,,,but maybe my dad was test driving it for m,y uncle..it might have been a good deal and maybe my uncle was concidering buying it for a spare,,,i know he did have an emeryville he used to sent out when one of the brockways was down again too long to remember,,,,but seens he picked up the cornbinder somewhere around 66
  2. come to think of it,,,im sure it had a split windshield,,,,and no vents.....way too long ago,,and i was very small....i believe it looked like the white one............did bring this up before,,,,,but by pop picked me up in it,,,,,and i dont know what he was doing with it,,,because he was driving for my uncle back then,,,and my uncle had all brockways....bob

I had a really cool poster of my dad‘s company truck when I was a young teenager made it out of a bro sure my mom threw it out when I was around 20 she didn’t think I needed the kids stuff anymore on my walls I was furious Haven’t been able to find any photos of those trucks at all ever since beacon fast freight

  6. Pretty cool I rode in one with my pop somewhere around 1963 ,,,, all I remember about it,,, engine was really loud and I couldn’t see out the windshield... bob

  10. all makes sense i drive a brand new kenworth and i can barely even hear the engine while driving down the road,,,,riding with my pop,,,,back in 1970 in a U600 that thing sounded the cats ass,,,especially him going through the gears,,,and yes the truck was very loud.........bob

  16. 335 cummins and a 13 speed,,,,lol..you could actually use it to pull a load and keep up...seems to be worth atleast 6-7 Gs...bob

  21. at 63....i dont have too many health issues....but im just getting lazier and i find it a little difficult to to get up from a creeper....is about it....kneeling does hurt my knees,,,,but my wife turned me on to knee pads,,,,man what a differance....got it covered...lol.bob

  24. Was thinking while you got it so far stripped might as well pull off the cab and sandblast all the underneath.. would be a good place to start... bob
