  2. almost bought a 1980 superliner in 1986 but it was a single drive 300 plus nice lookin ride but i needed a twin drive so i wound up getting a good deal on a 83 cruiseliner ....bob

  4. drove a LNT 9000 both 1980 and 1990 both had detroits.....really liked both of them ....nice looking ride.....and went down the road nice......they were both very loud,,but who,s complaining...lol.bob
  5. got 3 montgomery ward mowers...one lawn tractor...2 push mowers.....planning on restoring the tractor....and getting both mowers in running condition....and yes they were also a big part of filling up a house and garage....as well as sears.....bob
  6. those things were quite common when i was a kid....lot of them around back in the 60,s mostly had flat fenders and were 10 wheel dump trucks......very cool.....have a ball with it...bob

  12. That was excellent thanks...I got to drive a brand new W900 in a rock video 1984 they cut out alotta it the truck scenes.....But Everytime you see it rolling was me driving it... That's me standing at the gas station white T shirt just a flash gotta look really close I didn't get much exposure...Lol check it out band is rubber rodeo. Song is... There was a rental outfit around Hartford Connecticut that used to paint them light green and dark green of some sort can't quite remember exactly how they were painted but they looked really good this was back around 1970 you might want to sniff around and some fellows might have photos of them good luck Bob Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk

Guess it's like crank starts newspapers and home phones lotta stuff gets pushed aside but Sears and robucks guess guess they will be missed .......Most of us have a lotta good memories of them....Kinda sucks best of luck to them.....We only have 1 in my area. I never go there simply cause it's too far and they don't open till 1100. Doesn't help me much getting outa work most nights at 700 am

  21. You know my wife bought me a set of combo wrenches for Christmas couple years ago and thier Stanley......China import....So is my thermos bottle... Both real good products but too bad American workers can get a shake of that action.....bob
  22. Oh brother thanks for the heads up not exciting news...Personally I don't even bother checking the labels anymore....Just assume it came over in a china can.. . Kind of sad as a kid that was the store baby everybody went there and bought everything there I've been buying Craftsman tools since 1970 haven't really bought any tools at all for quite a while last I heard Craftsman was producing both Taiwan and American you could buy your choice I think it was the last store but I heard all American products as a big part of why they failed I think for the most part people would prefer to buy Taiwan Imports are 1/3 the price especially if they do the same job me I would prefer to pay more and see that somebody is working over here.....bob
