    funny you mention that,,,,,,when i ran mine,,,,,i used to run with a guy hadda 318....and his truck was the only one i could pass,,,,but only on a steep grade with heavy loads..... i bought a 350 thermodyne after that,,,,,,man what a difference......bob

    well they were all pretty good in the day....mack sold more from 68- 70....you can look it up.....i can tell you nowdays my company buys them all....volvo,international and kenworth seem to be the worse.... peterbilt and freightliner and mack....seems to have longer time between downs....bob

    i remember as a young teenager trying to talk to girlfreinds on the one phone in the house living room....and my whole family sitting there staring at me....awkward.lol...we still have a few dial jobs around here....none of them hooked up,,,2 of them are collectable mickey mouse phones...bob

    thats hillarious.... i renember driving 50 miles one time to look at a 55 ford classic way back in 1974 only wanted 100 bucks but the rockers were both completely gone and the engine smoked i walked off after like 5 minutes and he was begging me to buy it...i kept on walking.lol....first thing that came to mind when i was reading this.....im sure thats happened to most of us....bob

    i know sometimes we have the chance to get fresh produce around the bay area and southern california.... and man what a huge differance in taste getting it fresh from the farm especially the smaller ones....valencia,,and the delta area..compared to supermarket...excellent ...bob

    lol one of my first jobs was washing brand new plymouths and scraping off the factory stickers,,,,they hadda beautiful line up then got to drive all these brand new cars in and out of the wash bay at 16 was alotta fun can still remember how they smelled and looked,,,funny thing i dont remember any of the prices thanks for all the pics tom.. meat looks yummy...ill be doing ribs today first barbeque of the season.woohoo...bob
