  2. dont know a thing about the hay racket,,,but it always looks like a lotta work to me,,,the hardest jobs ive ever done,,was changing those truck tires,,in the early 70,s...or delivering beer.both ballbusters,,,wouldnt even concider it at 57,,,would rather go on welfare..hahahahahahahahaha.bob

  4. i heard they dont even sell rebulid kits anymore,,,too dangerous,,,but the last i heard rebuilt factory cans are very much available...good luck bob
  5. soak rim,and tire with soap and water works better also when inflating,,i would just let the tire shop do them personally remounting split rim type tires especially old ones is a ballbuster,,sometimes you cant even break the beads,,they have to use a air operated bead breaker,,,its not that much more to mount them,,,just a fare warning,,,they can be a real bitch....bob

  22. i would run a portapower from the rim to somewhere on frame or a bottle jack,of coarse spray WD or liguid wrench around the rim real heavy,,good luck....i really like the spokes myself,,,but yes they can drive you crazy,,,i used to work in a tire shop in the 70,s we could run them up true with an air wrench,,,but like these fella,s said...the average joe,,is better off doing them by hand...bob
