    ya,,,i remember it quite well...roads were closed for days,,,the entire east coast was shut down,,,they had to clear the highways,,with payloaders,,,i was workin for nissens bakery at the time,,,and we had to carry letters off athority to come to work,,and haul the products,,,because cars were banned from travel for days,after that,everybody was on foot,,walking to corner stores,,and markets,,trying to buy food,,it was horrible...bob

    i had the chance to see him perform live,,,at the alamo truck stop,,,here in reno,,,it was his last concert,,,i stuck around,and watched him do a few tunes,,,i was going to be late for work,,,,which i never ever do,,,im always like a half hour early,,,but it was worth it,,and he died a short time after,,,so im glad i stuck around,,,pretty hard to stay off dope,,,when your your own boss,and its all around....also dont have a phonograph,,,bought a best of billy joe spears,a couple a years ago,,at a second hand music store,,,and no way to play it...aint that a bitch.lol.bob.

    thats very interesting.i ran across a situation like that,,,30 years ago,,,at the banning california scales,with a brand new kenworth,,didnt cost much to get out of it,,,just had to jump thru some hoops,,,lol..i think i would just clean it up a bit,,,and shoot it green,,,and put it back in service,,,i just happened to have that part in my work shop...bob
