  7. The good old days I guess sometimes they weren’t good. I almost went to work for ronstiens sugar I’m sure you remember them. I know that’s not spelled right they had all R model Mack’s but their pay was lousy hundred pound bags. I’m sure that job was a lot of work also.

  13. thats terrific i have very little will power when it comes to calorie intake,,,,but i do eat cottage cheese and tangerines and prunes every morning,,,,,id much rather be piling in chicken fried steak and eggs lol.bob

That’s how my grandpa started … after watching that freight operation clip I’d completely forgotten back in the day hardly anything was palletized we were still hand jiving many boxes including cases of oil uuuuuurrr in the 80s … these days almost everything comes on them and shrink wrap things are a lot faster now and a lot less lifting

  22. And yes, I took your advice and put the brake adjuster in the vice. I removed the Zirk fitting and shot a bunch of penetrating oil in there and spun it completely around. Thanks for that.

Paul when I was putting those last two wheels together and putting in the flaps, I was thinking to myself the last time I did this I was only 17. 52 years ago it was a little bit easier back then I had a little bit of trouble trying to get the lock rings back on since I did not have a rim stand.
