what did you do,,add a browning????ya i used to run a 180 sometimes id be down to 8 miles an hour on a good pull with 42,000 everyone blowing my doors off,,,even an empty set a joints be down to 25 mph on the grapevine.lol.bob -
i used to be able to jack up take a tire off truck tube type split rim,bust apart patch tube and put all back together and on truck in 15 minutes,,but that was when i was 17,,now that im a big old fatman,,i would probably let another young kid do it,, ill sip coffee,and supervise.bob

when i lived in L.A. i had an mg that wouldnt pass smog,,and they said(DMV) you give us $175 and we,ll exempt the car,,,so i guess its ok to polute the air,,long as your greasing thier palms.lol.what a joke.bob

im anxious to see your oppinion once you try to pull any weight with that truck,,,even an empty box,on a good grade,will knock you back to like 35-40 miles per hour,,be droppin 4 or 5 gears,lol..you will be ready to get out,and beat it to death with a sledge hammer,,even a good headwind on flat ground,,and an empty box.and you cant let it drop under 1700 rpms,,or it will fall flat on its face,,trust me,,stick to bobtailing,,allot more fun..good luck bob -

we used a air bead buster in the earrly 70,s it would roll the tire,and dig into the bead both sides with these big wheels,,,it wasnt portable,or fast by any means,,but it worked real well on rusted rims,,,but the hammers were usually allot faster,,as long as they werent too rusted,,and of coarse when they domonstrate is using a brand new tire,,and rim.lol.they never work so easy for me.bob

know what you mean,,man now if we decide to keep buying american cars,,we need to put up with that,,these days,,they tell me they do that to keep the cost down,,,and compete with imports,,,im getting so tired of sending money to china,and tiawan,,,we decited this year all our gifts we sent,were gift cards for local services resturants,,car washes facials,,,all american services this year...im not buying anything made in anyone of those country,s,,,this year all my money is staying rite here....bob
