  1. Hell, I was just flipping around Google search I can’t find anything that even looks close
  2. I think that’s pretty much a universal switch and watts has a lot of them worth a try
  3. Excellent thanks for that Again, your truck looks amazing
  4. Oh, by the way, since we’re on the subject I’ve also had two beetles and one bus. Yes, I have had a lot of cars in my day.
  5. Ha ha yes it would be a lot more than that now I also had a 57 back at 1973 but it was a four-door sedan. I sold it and bought a 62 Impala.
  6. Tom, I think we’ve all done stuff like that before one to one match is pretty hard to come up with
  7. OK, that’s funny Dave. I did not even notice the hole in the fender. That’s just what it looks like.
  8. Excellent 40 years ago they were a lot cheaper I got my 55 for 100 bucks back in 75 but it wasn’t much more than a rolling shell had to put a lotta time and parts on it
  9. it should look something like this
  10. Looks excellent Tom and yes that’s what they used to tell us in the 70s was to hook it to the battery. I don’t know what’s up with that but I think it was cut cut out all the engine noise frankly I never liked the idea anyway especially on a company truck. But it’s probably a good idea.
  11. Yes, mine are all junk. Two of them are shredding rubber and flat. I’m going to have to do something soon. I’ve got to at least takeoff the two shredded and swap some things around for now. I am also on a budget now I am retired and trying to cut a few corners around here, I was going to go for the double coins 175 a piece I can’t even find those now Hobby trucks nobody really wants to go full on with prices
  12. Just checked it said I only got 8% of storage. Looks like I got a while before I max out.bob
  13. I just bought one of those single air horns from watts don’t know if you need one it came with all the accessories to install it I it wasn’t that expensive either
  14. Thanks for that have a ball bud….and yes I’m hoping to drive mine out of my yard atleast once before I croak ….. great progress… bob
  15. Hell I’ve never even checked my storage
  16. Excellent thanks for letting us know …. No suggestions for the last maneuver sorry great find
  17. We have a lot of them here Nevada road maintenance trucks. They all look like New because they don’t go out very often or very far.
  18. Pretty much the same way at our shop they have to be on the computer 15 minutes before they can change a tire What a country
  19. Yes, I got my 62 and exchange for favors for free. Mine was the same way. It only had around the same mileage car was sitting for years and years because it didn’t have any reverse gear car was exceptionally clean inside and out. I wound up rebuilding the transmission Car was just about perfect when I sold it as I mentioned I’m still kicking myself in the ass Forgetting rid of it that was around 35 years ago I want it back lol and yes, crazy money although I have noticed they have dropped considerably in the past few months
  20. Oh, by the way, I’m not trying to discourage you just giving you heads up lots of variations. It was a little bit easier a few years ago to hit a wrecking yard and get anything you needed. unless you’ve got solid part numbers and a reputable source such as Joey you have to be very careful about interchanging.
  21. Yes, that would drive anybody crazy who needs the cab moving that much anyway?
  22. OK, thanks for that. I didn’t even notice there was an M at the end. I didn’t think it was the same company. This outfit looks about as gypo as you can get.
  23. I figured they wouldn’t be a whole lot of difference. You could pretty much use anything in there. Glad you got it fixed.
  24. She mostly cries I get to sit around all day and I make more than she does working ha ha I did mention I could sell my 2014 Mustang for $18,000 and find a pretty clean 64 galaxy she did not think that was a good idea
