  1. yes, a good part of them have air start and spoke wheels look like they’re ready for some hard work and Geoff,,, I really like the looks of them on the trailers. I grew up in New England worked in a truck tire.shop in 73 and that’s all I ever worked on was split rim spoke wheels… bob

  4. That sounds dangerous, but pallet Jack almost look like it was made to fit under neath the triplex I got real lucky. The pilot shaft went right in to the disc so easy I couldn’t believe what I was looking at.

  6. I was wondering that myself last couple of times I’ve been back there. I noticed there’s not that money around anymore. Everything went to.budds years back. That’s all there was … spoke wheels on everything.
  7. Actually, just this one corner is the worst part the nose rest of the repairs that will not take anywhere near as long And duck I have not heard that tune in years I remember what it came out I was driving a 62 impala I only paid 135 bucks for good luck finding one for that price now… bob
  8. Hoping to be priming and painting the nose before the weather starts going south on me ….. I’ve been doing a pretty good job of putting a shoe up my own ass lately….as soon as I get this big mess cleaned up rest of the body work will be pretty much coasting and yes Mecho,,,,, 10 four on the phony president with absolutely nothing to say … bob

  12. Yes, thanks I’m sure I’ll wind up reworking the same area at least twice. I was just out there looking at all that needs to be done. Next… first layer didn’t freeze up as straight as I would’ve hoped but I had a start somewhere. My goal is to do as much fiberglass as humanly possible without using a whole Lotta bondo

  15. i was actually able to pull that piece of plastic rite out after it pretty much dried,,,,i didnt think that was going to happen,but thats what i was hoping,,,bob
  16. and yes,im still not sure if im making it look better of worse,,still great feeling,knowing im finally moving in the right direction with thing,for lots and lotsa years this truck just sat around,,,never really did anything to it at all,but start it every few weeks and move it around once in a while...my wife used to jump on me occasionally,,,,are you ever going to work on that thing or what??????now she cry's every time im out there doing anything to it bob
  17. ahrite fellas a little more progress been saving empty containers lately all kinda shapes.size sand countours trying to look for differant things that might work on spots like this one this clorox wipes jug,seemed to go real well here,,,i generally get real motavated on saturday morning,,,this one i didnt feel like doing shit,,,sat around drinking coffee too long almost waited too late to start this ,,,sun was already almost too hot for resin...bob

  20. I had to put a clutch in mine when I first bought it. I don’t remember having to do anything from inside talk about roughing it out. I was doing it in the dirt. I had a sheet of plywood and a pallet jack I borrowed on the plywood and I was by myself Next time I pull my transmission out I’ll have better facilities ha ha
  21. I almost forgot I got wrapping with one of those drivers when I was around 15. The guy was really nice. He . Let me get up inside and look around. It was just like that one set up the same way, but it was black and it had this gorgeous red tuck in roll interior package This was around 1971 and I can’t quite remember, but it seems to me the interior was painted black, and not green Oh, good old days …… bob
