  1. You know somebody mentioned air and fuel. I do have a small intake line seeping. I have been ignoring it for quite some time. I wonder if that would cure it
  2. Ha ha that’s another thing you mentioned that people don’t realize till they get too far into it. Send you all over the United States and have your sitting half the time. One of our weather Man, Here in Reno. Quit the TV station and trained for a class a license wound up hiring on with swift. My wife follows him on Facebook. He claims they pay him to hang around and wait. I don’t know where that started or how much he makes but that’s a great. Thing to offer and I don’t know how long that has been going on especially with that cheap shit outfit but even if it’s minimum wage It’s better than nothing.
  3. Miss this somehow that was pretty good but it seems to fit my cruise liner and my U model more so than this bucket of bolts I got now ha ha thanks for that… bob
  4. One thing about that engine it’s got great compression. It’s very hard to turn it over with a bar.
  5. Nobody wants to do that kind of work anymore. Too many hours low pay a lot of times especially these days. It takes a long time to get into a good out fit but does not help with their drivers shortage not like the old days you just wait your turn and jump right into a teamster sweetheart deal
  6. I think the fingerprint is only the first time
  7. If this helps anybody it’s not consistent sporadic throw a couple of puffs I then it goes away for a few seconds maybe 10 when it comes back again on and off it’s not steady also mentioned a buddy of mine down there and California recommended that to me a long time ago about advancing the pump slightly that also works that was his first suggestion when I mentioned the issue norm Taunton… some of you know him
  8. Well thanks for that I’ve never been to Hawaii myself yeah same here with 401k is for travel and home repairs every day expenses are SS and wife’s paycheck
  9. I’m gonna try to put it together tomorrow and start it and see what happens thanks for your input everyone
  10. I drove at home when i bought it 30 years ago. That’s the only time it’s ever seen the road. I started every weekend and let it run for about 10 minutes. That’s about the biggest workout it gets.
  11. Wow, I’d like to go there myself. Maybe I’ll put it on my bucket list.
  12. That was excellent thanks
  13. Yes, I thought of that but like a car back in the day with a.(NORMAL)distributor would need adjustment occasionally
  14. Thanks for that. I did mention. I found one exhaust valve too tight most everything else was pretty close. I’m hoping maybe that will cure my issue. I also thought of that. I don’t think it’s ever been changed. It sure doesn’t look like it.
  15. I would’ve liked to be there when they dropped it off Thanks for that…. Bob
  16. That’s quite a rig you got there Bubba I am like Joey. I really don’t like to drive anywhere, but it would be fun just to go to our local gambling casino and have breakfast with it. 2 miles down the road sorry I can’t help you with much of your information. Good luck with it… bob

  18. my god,,,i dont think even a mask would hide that,,,,hands look like a chick ..thats about it!!!!!!!!!
  19. well for one thing again the all mighty main street media is scaring the shit out of everyone insteada inspiring everyone and boosting thier spirits,,,,,and where the hell were they when they were closing tons of factories over here??????ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thats right nobody cared
  20. OK, thanks for that Definitely need two people since timing marker is on the flywheel.
  21. You know, I’m not even sure I believe it’s American I’ll have to let you know a little later.
  22. Look at the good side we could’ve had that drag queen still out there doing photo shoots around the globe shaking hands with the enemy
  23. I knew you’d like that one Happy Saturday
  24. Accessive smoking was the original problem. Norm Taunton suggested I advance the timing a bit, and that will probably cure it He told me that quite a while ago it sounded pretty legitimate to me. But velvet adjustment was also a suggested to me about 45 years ago by an older hand in LA and it worked on the 180 I had at the time I did find one valve that was too tight after second go around originally thought two cylinders off, but I was not going in the proper sequence kind of a long story now I’m just rambling but I did find one valve tight number four cylinder exhaust maybe that’s all it is i’m hoping this issue doesn’t turn into a huge trial and error caper .. bob
