  1. Yes I have 1 set left, I'll be getting more sets punched out with a bunch of other stuff soon if anyone else wants a set.
  2. What are the odds! Too cool! Definitely better than a pot of gold.
  3. I'm not into the purple fenders either but it does look like he's put a lot of bucks into a restoration on it not sure about 60k worth but it's a sharp looking truck. I'm guessing from the area code it's up in the Ottawa area.
  4. Here's the two configurations I pull. The hopper is an axle configuration like Bobo has and is measured for 117,400lbs gross allows me a little over 39tons of aggregate. The tanker is good for more than we can fit on it. Filled to the cap I gross out at 60,000 KG so were around 130,000lbs.
  5. A lot of variables on weights in Ontario all depends what type of configuration you have. An air ride tandem tandem configuration with a 53' trailer could be good for up to 89,949lbs gross weight, depending on the distance between axles we like our spreads up here.
  6. They have a Cabover Kenworth at the T/A in Woodstock Ontario. Guess he does love all of them.
  7. The U Joints you should be able to get anywhere you get your truck parts from. U joints for a steering shaft should be standard.
  8. The # should be stamped on the box somewhere. Sometimes they're on the back side. My Superliner was stamped on the side facing the frame. You might be able to run the VIN and find out the info you need.
  9. All depends how worn it is. You might be able to take up some slop by adjusting the screw on the worm. Don't touch the pressure screw. If it's too bad best to pull it off and get it rebuilt somewhere that rebuilds steering boxes you might be able to exchange for a remaned steering box. They can be pricey.
  10. I believe Superdog is correct on using engine oil being what it originally called for.. I changed the pump on the 866 I had and ran power steering fluid with some Lucas power steering stop leak in it to condition seals in the box . I put a bit of the Lucas in all my old stuff whether it leaks or not. ATF probably would be ok too in that system. I f you don't find any major leaks when you top it up and run it back and forth and you have all the air worked out and the reservoir still goes down you might have a seal gone in the pump putting it into the engine oil. I've had that problem with the small Vickers pumps like that. I just pitched a box full of those pumps actually shells of those pumps all of them had broken shafts. Hopefully your problem is just a line.
  11. Some insurance companies will want an appraisal on your truck. I had my Superliner appraised about a month ago. The guy appraised it at $33000.00 I was pleased with that but when the broker went to write me under Hagerty they filled out all the paperwork had me get it appraised and then told me it was too new for them it's an 89 and they won't do it unless it over 30 years old. So I guess I'll keep shopping. But when I was working the truck a couple times the insurance just asked me what u valued it at approximately. And I told them $20,000.00 and they went with that. But if the unthinkable happens you are best to have an appraisal and have it agreed upon in writing with the insurance that way you won't get bent over. They have to hold good to the appraised value of the truck.
  12. Mack used Can/Am, Alumi-Bunk and Mik-Mak Bunks on Trucks sold in Canada.
  13. Very nice! Lots of room to work. I love it I've almost always worked in cramped quarters or outside. That's my dream maybe someday to have a big shop. For now my little one works just fine.
  14. I just have the 1 tank and it's a split primary/secondary tank. I'll measure it for you later but I can tell you it's about the same diameter as a Superliner 2 tank but shorter than the Superliner tank that's what I bought it for but found a set of Superliner aluminum tanks after. It will be a bit lwider and longer than you MH tank they're pretty short.
  15. Sorry I only had the rear cut off from the truck and the pieces of the rails went to the scrap a long time ago, because I put the air ride under my Superluner and I fabricated 2 Crossmembers more like new way ones and went with the 2piece the rest of the way through the frame.thats why I still have the CH ones .
  16. Here's some pics.
