  1. 866 should be 375hp gold paint could actually make it an 865 325hp but pump should work on either one who knows what it could be set up for. Try giving Northwest Truck a call in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. 1-800-665-9248 Harold there should be able to give you an educated guess at what to ask for it. A lot depends on who needs one and what they are willing to pay. I've bought lots of stuff off of him and he's given me prices to ask for stuff I'm selling but I never seem to get that for my stuff, I've sold a lot of cheap parts down through the years mostly just to help guys out.
  2. Yeah it's an 866 pump.
  3. Dungannon and Paisley, I've been to both places. I'm about the half way point from there and where you are from, so if you crossed over into Canada at the Detroit / Windsor border crossing you were within a few miles from where I'm at. I like those 2 swing fender Dodges. They were probably built right here in Windsor, they built some of the class 8 trucks there right till they quit in 1975. I 'm too young to remember as I was born in 1975 but I do know a few old fellas that worked there back in the day. Chyrsler in Windsor still has a swing fender wrecker, not in use but not in bad shape that a friend of mine that works up there in that department was going to inquire about it for me, I'll have to ask him if he found out about it for me, I was kidding him about it telling him I'd gladly accept it as a charitable donation and I'd leave it original for shows. Be a cool piece to have though.
  4. I don't want to say who or what won 1st, but Killer would have took the show if he didn't blow a turbo around the 290ft mark, he had her hooked up good and probably would have took it right out the end if he hadn't popped that turbo. Killer and Buckeye Bulldog are just amazing what they can do. I could just watch them pull all day long.
  5. Yeah, I miss driving my old Superliner on a daily basis. If there was still a good paying job for it up near here I'd get here out and use it again at least during the good weather months think I'd get another truck for a winter beater though. Yeah I sure miss enjoying g being out on the road when it seemed like there weren't such a thing as a bad day at work, where other drivers would pass or meet me and give us a big old thumbs up and maybe give a compliment or ask a question or 2 on the CB, used to make my day, and I felt really proud to be an owner operator. Man what I wouldn't give to turn the clock back 10 years.
  6. I met the guy with the B61 Superliner and MH last month up at the Clifford show talked to him at the Mack display for quite a while, he's a good guy. The green B61and the blue B61 and the AC all are owned by Great Lakes Truck Club Members too. Talked with the owner of the blue B61 at another members open house and truck drive in last fall. Where was the Estate auction and the Massey Expo at?
  7. Got a few pics from down at the pull in Bowling Green.
  8. I was at the tractor pull in Bowling Green Ohio yesterday and I ran across these guys there. If you have one of your old liners for them to use for the specs they said they can make liners for anything. I thought I'd pass this on to you guys since every once in a while we run across someone in need of a liner or two for 865/ 866 V8s they say they can make them. Power Bore cylinder sleeves in Salem, OH. (330)-332-1566 ext. 138 or www.powerboresleeves.com
  9. Hadley book I got in Louisville has round chrome aluminum ones # H00871A - 24.5" and shield kit is # H00929B #H00876A - 30" and shield kit is # H00928B. Hadley rep told me these should fit in place of your rectangular ones. I was thinking about a pair of these for mine too. Can be ordered through any place that carries Hadley stuff not sure about you US guys but I know Traction can get them for me in Canada for about the same price as the rectangular ones.
  10. Saw this in my travels yesterday. Not sure on the year of it but it looks to have a W900A hood, I think the guy custom built the cab, a couple years ago I saw it outside where he's from back when he was working on it.
  11. I think something like this can only take place in Quebec. We could never have an event like this in Ontario either. We have too many rules in the rest of communist Canada.
  12. The black R Model is pretty cool. I think it's just an R 600 one of the crew told me the cab is chopped 4". It has a pair of racing buckets for seats so you sit low. It has an E9 stuffed under that little hood. He wouldn't tell me what they have done to it , that's their secret. It's just for racing it's very impressive. About 6 years ago the first time we went he stopped half way up the hill and lot up all 8 tires and just toto tilled the street, had smoke and flames coming off the mangled asphalt.
  13. Here' s a few pics from the Truck Rodeo this weekend. trim.mW0zJK.MOV
  14. Here's a few pics of an old Michigan loader at the stone dock. Look how much bigger it is than the old Caterpillar 980 B.
  15. Here's a pic of my replacement. And what it looks like from the other side of the fence.
  16. Back tar and chipping roads again today. It figures I show up figuring on getting put on that darned rubber tired roller again the temp was only about. 70 degrees today and I get to drive a tri axle dump today, I'm not complaining though got to drive a new Granite today.
  17. I'll be talking to him. We hung out with him where he was parked last year. My brothers went for ride up the track on one of the bobtail races in his Superliner, they have a video of it on Youtube some where. I'll see if I can't catch a ride this year.
  18. Looks like fun. We have 2 weekends of truck drags at the 2 dragstrips up here. Sparta /St Thomas Dragway hastheres in about 3 weeks. M friends are bugging me to take my Superliner and run it there. Don't know if I'll try it this year, I want to get it up there for the show, might be going up on the float haven't got insurance and plates yet.
