  1. Thanks everyone for your help, B61fred- Thats ford tough for ya!! Love to see pics if you have any of the ford all loaded up! Thanks for your help. freighttrain- Trailer is not dovetail , the one with dovetails where WAY out of my $$$$$ range. FXY- yes sir! I got my chain and binders a few days ago! Im all set with that. Thats a great looking trailer, and mack!!! Nice ride! Tom
  2. YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!! I thought i was correct but wasn't sure! Thanks a lot man! I appreciate it. Frmconcrete09- Well in order to buy my truck i had to sell my current pick up truck, HORRIBLE mistake. Had about 10,000 saved up from my lawn care business, which i have since stopped doing. And any extra money i needed i borrowed from my mom, only about 3,000 or so. I am currently at my job in my local town pumping fuel as i write this. So i hope to pay her back within a few months. If i don't the truck will be sold. I HATE borrowing money from people. I go by the motto, "If you don't got the money to purchase it, Your living out of your means" But she offered, I'm a hard working man, had a landscaping company for 4+ years, started with a lawn tractor in my neighborhood and i grew it from there. Surprisingly i made VERY good money doing that, but i already screwed up my back and its been killing me ever since. Well thats my story. LOL. sorry if i bored you. Burnin Oil- Thank you for all your information! I appreciate it! Tom
  3. oh well, it was worth a shot.
  4. Well heres another question for you guys, Is there any way i can use my international without a CDL if i stay below the 26000 gvw mark? Until i get my CDL License when i turn 21? Or no matter what i will need a cdl in order to haul with it. Tom
  5. Heres one in the south. Might be to far down though LOL. Tom
  6. No sir!!! Sorry if it sounded like that! I apologize. Tom
  7. So even when i get my full cdl and i can leave state i STILL need someone to ride with me? I have never heard of this before thats why i don't get it lol. Please explain more.
  8. Agreed, Some sort of b model.
  9. Well I'm still going to get my permit at 18, then when i turn 21 i won't need to have to go through all the nonsense of the permit and having someone drive with you etc... 220cummins- I have loads to start asap, but no CDL to drive with. Thanks for the advice ill remember that for sure!!! Tom ... Just gotta figure out what I'm gonna do with the truck now...
  10. Yep just got one actually, 2007 International. I could've sworn you where aloud to drive just in the state of NJ only with a permit, i had no idea someone had to ride with me... I have only 1 uncle in my family that used to truck about 5-10 years ago. he has since retired and got a different job when hess gasoline stopped trucking there gas to their stations. Well the only thing i guess i can do is either lease the truck to someone with a driver ( Do not want to do that ), Wait till i turn 21 in 2 and a half years, or sell the truck and trailer i just bought. Man this blows.
  11. Well if thats the case then I'm screwed...
  12. So your saying until i turn 21 i need to have someone over 21 with me at all times driving with my permit?
  13. Im going to be getting my CDL permit in a few months and i have a few questions. What are the limitations for having a permit, obviously can not leave my state and haul flammables, but is there anything else I'm missing? And also i think i read somewhere that i need to have someone who has a CDL and is over 21 years of age drive with me for 6 months? If thats true I'm screwed!!!! Please inform me if i am wrong... thanks, Tom
  14. Thanks for all your help guys...! I will be towing it with a 07 international 4400. i will not be over weight by any means. Im only going about 20 minutes to the truck show. If any of you guys are in the area stop on by. Its at the sussex county fair grounds! not to sure on the dates tho. Lucerne- I am in Northern NJ!! Thanks again, Tom
  15. Rob- Sounds good rob. There is a truck show coming up to my area in a next month or so. Im gonna load up the B Model on the gooseneck and take it to the show with the international. Ill make sure i grab a few pics for ya. Vinny- Thanks for your help. Im just concerned about the weight, If I'm not mistaken the "B" weighs more then the "U"... Correct? Tom
  16. Would you haul a B61t on this gooseneck? Im worried that it will be to top heavy. Trailer is a 40' gooseneck with air ride suspension. With tandem axles. Pics- Tom
