Rowdy Thursday night going on 2 weeks ago I had the officer at the south bound coups mess with me. He had a sense of humor and had me going till he gave me my permit back and said have a good day. Bigen I agree with you. Between running Tx and points north at night the piece of mind if you take a hit are worth the 35 to 4500. I was looking at the one Bubbamobiling sent me the link to but I just didn't like how the bars where open on the sides unlike the smoother surfaces of the Herd

I got a short Pitt muffler under the truck now. next I am going to put the original pipes back on and put the quiet pitt mufflers on next with the heat shields on. I liked the noise at one time. And now I just want it quiet

Thats on my list to. Will be on this year for sure

You got that right even when I was a company driver I always did little things like lights. Hell I went to get fuel filters on mine at a ta since I broke my filter wrench and was told 5 hours!!!! went next door to speedco 20 mins in and out. I atleast hope when I get a driver for my truck doing Heavy Haul they should have experience. I will probably ride with for a week or 2 and i'll know what they can do in the first day or 2. We shall see but there will be no going in the shop for a headlight. Filters maybe.

My opinion of a Good driver is one that is safety oriented. I've always believed safety first the load can wait. Not let anyone lift anything over the truck cab or have a boom over it. Does a good walk around and if they can fix the small things like lights or fuses, Grease the truck or take it in to grease regularly. Compliant. log it legal. We all cheat at one point in time. I have gotten less and less on that. With all these sue happy nuts I want to make some scumbag attorney look and look for a log violation 8 months back. Not abusive of the equipment. To much to really list

Yeah lol I get a kick out of the Jehovah witness. I have no problem with anything and do whatcha got to do. just don't preach to me and I won't screw with you is how I feel about it. I am also like Holy shit did you see that!!!!

I know what your talking about. Go out somewhere and even with the floats i start sliding. Had to stop before I hit a trailer. ended up having to use high range in reverse to clean out the tires enough to back up. then other problem I had was the trailer pushing me side ways.was finally able to get turned enough to clear the trailer. 2 weeks ago went to a motel against my better judgement went to the truck lot it was still raining and it was orange clay. put the front end off the concrete and sank. i was grossing 152k and was not about to go out there.finally got backed up went around the building and backed up in the mud. trailer sank to the rims. Empty I would of locked the rears in and hit it about 3rd gear. then again empty I would of just probably done the same thing keeping the truck on the solid ground. If I don't have to beat the hell out of it unnecessary I won't.

Depending on the state I think. If I am not mistaken it is along the lines of 45 or 50' with out a pivot. I could be off it has been years since I thought of that when a friend of mine was going to make something and like all his other stuff it never happened but I know it was going to be long

When I worked for Commercial Carrier out of Auburndale. Drove a CH613 not sure the engine size might of been a 300 but never looked past the dipstick. Had a 5 sped on Mack rears just on Reyco suspension. wasn't a bad ride.

Those guys got a managerie of trucks, Hell they got that 6x a-car, 1 mack and 2 or 3 kw's They have no clue what they want. Most guys want the large car. I know one thing I got a big truck, I can't come close to a large car. But I'll give them hell till I hit 96 then it is all over. But I'll eventually get there loaded and empty. But it does damn good off road. For a tractor. Still won't be a Mack But I make do

I would of said a few years ago no when I had a couple off accidents including a rear ender. I got rear ended bobtail. watched the guy coming and had no where to go. knocked the hell out of me because he was playing with his daughter. Another I hit someone getting on the turnpike and I4 in orlando. lady came the ramp the and was lost. instead of going into the doubles staging area she stopped mid ramp after cutting across in front of me. I shot her clear across the road trunk in the back seat. If anything had come out of it I would of gotten the blame I was speeding hell just look at the rubber I laid down. She got 3 tickets and I got none. Go figure. Cop knew she was lost and lieing about where she came from when he could see the bags in the back seat. Then I got side swiped. I was on the side of the road and some drunk fell asleep swiped me and hit the car broke down in front of me. landed in some trees. a month to the day later I had someone coming down an entrance ramp and I could not move. Now this ramp is a mile long and the old timer tried pulling in front of me. hit my right front steer smacked my grill and eventually came out the driver side hitting me again and hit the people next to me head on. Been lucky for sure

I know they had 1 today on 24 eastbound in Oak Grove,Ky. Suv crossed median and Head first into the trailer tandems knocking them out and the suv looked like a can of sardines. Truck and trailer upright trailer was slid of the road down in the ditch. Sad part is the attorneys are gonna make it look like the Truck drives fault and get the family to try and sue them. It is only gonna get worse for them and they are gonna have a long way to go

Rim was still on the trailer all the times i have tried. I've seen it done just never had the magic touch to do it right
