  1. I was thinking the same thing. Got mirrors and a seatbelt, Put the hat on backwards, secure anything you want down and lets boogie. Imagine the look on the bears face when you come into the scale. That would be priceless. Hell it was only a tad bit cool yesterday morning.
  2. Are you shitting me!!!! Thats just what I want to wake up to in the morning to find. you got to have some big balls of steel to go about this. I'd never of even thought about snagging the doors
  3. If I had a use for it right now I would probably look into it. It just doesn't fit in the scheme of things for me at this time
  4. http://goo.gl/maps/kvwaH Seen this the other day it is facing the other direction. Nothing known about it just seen the for sale sign. Located next to the Newell travel center at the shop on the same road. Got another pic or so of it
  5. High power that a name I haven't heard in a long time. Thought they only made Cummins roll.Heard alot of good from them never dealt with them.
  6. I really couldn't unhook also probably would of slid of the trailer. Now had I had a Bucket and stick I wouldn't of drove it into the ground but I would of put enough down force on the bucket to drag my self out with Ann attempting to put some tractive force with the truck. Damn carebear would of shit.
  7. Welcome to the jungle Son't feel bad there are Paccar guys like me floating around to, There are worse vices then that
  8. truck is doing good.No problem or complaints other then a few leaks that seem to be gettign worse.
  9. If it is clicking it could also be the starter. Might try having someone tap on it with a hammer and attempt to start it.
  10. This thing is factory with the truck. 1 coil per sode length wise with the frame with a small chain at the end. According to the door tag 17k lift. I can get 20 when I crank the weight down and slide forward but I normally run 18+/-. about 100psi is normal for me with 70 on the drive bags
  11. I dealt with this for a year. Mn was another one that would give me weight but because of that tire they would go to bridge alot more and take an extra day to get permits. Now if I had 425's or 445 65 Rs it would of been different. Just my experience with Super Singles on the lift axle. If that is my only option then I'll take my steers off now and move them back. Also all the fenders will come off to make room
  12. I had supers on. Not foats like on the steers. 445/55 R 22.5's Texas wouldn't give me crap I had to say I had duals. More power to them. Just my experience. Only reason I went back to duals. I have seen the dual wheel steers but not many. Usually only big singles.
  13. you sure it isn't 60 to 62000 pounds. tons hell you'd be heavy real heavy and I don't see that in the buckeye
  14. I am currently running 19 to 20k on the lift axle. When I had super singles Tx would only give me 15k Makes it hard to scale right when you need it.
  15. I really want a dual wheel steerable. Gonna take the axle off when we get home. Lifting chains and springs are wore out axle barely comes off the ground now has more scuffs from driving up then anything else. Had a super single on it at 1 time and Tx gave me hell on weights so redueled it. I would have to take all my fenders off to fit a single wheel steerable with a 425 or 445 on it.
  16. Looks like he hit it pretty square. When we started down our path I was starting to go towards a tree to stop. Reason being was I had a couple options. A. split the middle and keep going, Whats on the other side is unknown. I didn't want to go plowing into a house. B. Hit the tree and stop and deal with what happens afterwards. C. try to turn back up the hill and flop over Never really know as we stopped when the trailer hit bottom. When it hit bottom let me tell you we came to a pretty quick stop. Turns out if we would of split and not hit the tree just past that was about a 10 to 15' drop. Thinking the truck would of been fucked and we would of been really sore. Oh well
  17. Later on that afternoon Jake. I was still tinkering with chaining when we talked
  18. Me to. It was wild to say the least. Nothing damaged that I have seen and only thing I found today is there is a clicking sound coming from the sleeper. started this evening. Might go look tomorrow, Crawl under and look around. Since the ground wasn't soft and we didn't sink I don't think anything is wrong. They pulled me off the trailer and really don't see anythign bent
  19. Buster was just dodging stuff coming off the top shelf so he was more jumpy then usual. I never have had problems with floats sliding. These have slid more then any other tire I have had. Yokes will never go back up front again. Last time I slid I had Mich on and came in alittle fast on a curve. Rain and cold. Moved half a lane. These have broken free another time and was able to get it back under Luckily Cumberland,Md has a slow speed or I may of been in the wall.
  20. 1 wrecker and he didn't want me to help unless he had a hard time. Idk it is supposed to be between 60 to 68k Figure I was just under 120k. Was supposed to be going after a stripped 349 afterwards and that has been changed with not getting unloaded today. Never scaled
