It's nice to have a small motor run with the big boys but be careful what you wish for. The small engines can't handle the big power like the big bores do

I 2nd the wheel bearing. Ever since I had the left wheel seal done I got more vibrations then I know what to do with. Had another seal go out and when they took the bearing off the nut was less then hand tight

Buddy has a 2013 getting over 6.4 with 4.33's in the back. usually pulls good until they tinker with it. It is going in the shop today. Running hotter then normal. He loves it Probably pre 13 is the problem. Detroit has there own problems

Never heard the vent tube doing that but anything is possible. More then likely getting dirty fuel from the source

We got wipeout by hurricane Andrew in 1992 whole south Miami was gone! So I know what it is to loose all! Let do something! it was leveled down there. We went to help out and it was a zoo. After I started driving there was still alot of abandoned places. Last time we went down it has really regrown. It is amazing how people forget ve some cloths or whatever they need for free.

You blow out and flush the intercooler also?When I blew a turbo on an old 60 series I can't remember how much crap came out then more on the oil change.

Rob IDK. one day we are shooting the bull and next email no awnser and has not responded to emails,calls, and or text. Figure he wrote me off like the forum or hell idk. Never seem to get close enough to bobtail over there or go to the hotel down the road when empty.

Friend of mine over at ATS has a 2013 he has put 100k on 4 Axle tractor. Cummins powered. No major problems and it pulls like a raped ape, When they don't screw with the programing. Think they got alot of the bugs worked out of them. Should be a good truck.

Keep in mind with the older 13speeds. They do not split like the new ones or bigger ones for whatever reason. When you split the gear and are ready to upshift to the next hole do not bring the red button back!!!!! Wait till you get it in gear then down shift the split. If it works like I think and you split and pull out of gear to the next hole you will just about have to come to a stop to get the bastard to get in any gear and the range selector to find what it wants. Fyi. The new ones and the higher torque models work alot better.

I would probably look into if it is possible. Get it turned to a 427. maybe alittle bigger. A bigger engine works less and since it is not working as harder as the smaller engine it uses less fuel. Just have to drive sensibly not keep your foot in it. My Cat in a hard pull even lugging down with the new turbo gets up to 900. With the old turbo I had to back out of it in the hills it would climb up to 1000 and better if I wasn't watching. Boost 2 different engines but putting around 38psi myself.

Got a pic of what your talking about? I did some aluminum welding in school but man that was back in 95. I know it is finiky as hell.
