  1. With my RTLO20918B Idk what the final is in it but with 4.11's on tall rubber flat out 94 mph at 2200. just tore ass down a Farm Road in Tx last week to remember what it strolls at
  2. A friend of mines motto is grease is cheap. I need kingpins from slacking off on greasing the truck as I hate getting under it. So for 47 dollars at speedco I can get all the fittings greased. I think I come out ahead as I have an extra steering box and 2 more axles on the trailer as well as 9 fittings on the neck of the trailer. They are used to regular trucks
  3. I concur
  4. have to look it up state by state. not real sure. i just keep them stashed on the truck.
  5. You got that right. Started getting mine greased after every load or 2nd load between services and washed after it gets greased. Polish thats another story
  6. Just make sure when Chain law drops. Some states do not enforce it and others have a carry law and want to see them. Food for thought. I also don't mean in use, just the time of year
  7. This was done to a 10 speed my dad had in an old cornbinder. He didn't do it or have it done it was bought already like this. It would of been great for a road truck. I don't remember the progression that steep, But I didn't know then what I know now. It was not worth a flip for a dump truck. Have driven 8LL's like that and 9 speeds. never had to many problems
  8. Welcome to the jungle. Sweet ride
  9. I know your right.
  10. Welcome to the jungle. Someone here might have what you are looking for
  11. You got that right and in a few more years when his sticker pecks up it won't matter what color hair she has as she probably is smooth down stairs.
  12. That is true but when the tires run more then what the truck brings in then it is kinda futile
  13. Glad you passed yours. I'm in a world of shit. Passed everything but blood pressure. Of course I am 1400 miles from home and loaded. Was able to get it low enough for a 3 month card. no to decide where to get a Dr since I am hardly home. either in Il or Tx. Ain't it great doing this
  14. Glad you had it under control and not end up across the median or over the bridge. Seen a guy when i headed over to Walcott to get the truck greased lost the whole left wheel assembly. He got off the road upright but I bet it was 1 hell of a ride. Wheel was leaning against the cables on the west bound side.
  15. If they match roll with it.
  16. didn't get unloaded but did talk to him and he was going to swing by the truckstop but never did see him
  17. We're headed towards Bettendorf ourself and friend of mine is heading home towards New Virginia. Guess we will both see how the roads are this morning over there.
  18. 84 super dog is partially correct. it is 11 driving total 14 for the day with a 10 hour break. also as explained to me after flying to get a truck once I left the house I was on duty go figure. Also it is a 34 hour restart 36 is Canada. Even if you show your trip up you can scribble something and start it showing a 10 hour when you get the Truck. Run it legal less headaches. Also not for hire doesn't mean you will not get stopped and looked at. As soon as i get the email I'll post a pic of a multiday off log and what it should look like as explained to me by the log gods at the glass palace in Jacksonville. AKA Landstar when I was leased there
  19. Never really done anything like that but when I drove a none apportioned truck out of state I had trip permits and I think ifta permits also. Only state that busted my balls was Sd they wanted all the paperwork. Not all states sell permits at scales so keep that in mind before you pull in and get bent over
  20. Got kingpins to do on mine ugh. Being an O/O is great till the repair bill hits
  21. Gone from the board. he has been so busy with all kinds of irons in the fire. if all goes well tomorrow I am probably going to swing by his place for a few days and bug the everliving piss out of him with my Peterbilt in Mack territory
  22. Welcome to the jungle
