  1. Also keep in mind Ks only gives 65 on a quad and anything over 145k or so gets costly and interesting. I may know someone that is out and about .
  2. Where in Nv anyways. Bootlegging is only a crime if you get caught
  3. Normally I would say yes but I don't have my spreader bar with me. Nv has some of the damdest weight laws. Kinda just as screwed as Az. I can get more on a triple out there then a quad. 12.5 wide that sounds bigger then an 85k machine. unless it has a coal bowl
  4. Thank you. Wasn't to bad.
  5. you know what the cure is for the car? Wood. I see you had plenty of wood there. Just break up the picnic table and stuff under the ramps
  6. We will see what happens. Where is the chassis at Rob?
  7. Thank you. Yeah not how I wanted to spend it. Was hoping to be home then started bleeding money out and had to stay out here. Starting to forget what the house looks like. Might look into moving to Tx.
  8. They are great for dumping over a grate. Like RandyP said road jobs. I think they are better at road jobs doing asphalt myself. Dump and go let the feeder feed the paver and never stop.
  9. cool pics. Big Bud is for sale I think it is in Ms on 61 thinking south of Greenville,Ms
  10. Rob When I pulled a mechanical after I twisted my trailer I went from a 55ton Fontaine, aluminum rims, wet kit, and neck extention with 25' of well to pull a 45 ton mechanical with a long neck,26' well, steel wheels. I had the wet kit on and was only 400 pounds lighter trailer to trailer. I didn't see the benefit of beating my truck to death on a mechanical. I also didn't have ramps. That made it real interesting. Loosing his wet kit and the hydraulic he might be 600 to 1000 pounds lighter.
  11. I wish you luck on that. You'll really appreciate haveing a good speed on railroad tracks. Idk I have never had a mechanical beat me to hook or unhook. Now dropping the trailer the spank me every time. But what happened that made you shed all kinds of stuff or you got a good load repeatedly that you need the weight. Best thing you can do is crane load
  12. Transmission story is I pulled the truck out of Kw. they tried selling me a whole new driveline before getting to the trans. Told them the problem is in the trans and if your not going to look at it or road test it I'll come get it. Gonna take it to another place I have dealt with in the past. See If I get another run around. Probably gonna run it light to get to the house or as far as it will move. Hotel yeah thermostat says 60 degrees but hell was just about roasting. Finally cooled down. Just gonna sit here in Denver till tomorrow.
  13. you'll be back under a hydraulic trailer in no time. You'll pull your hair out with that damn mechanical thing a ma jig
  14. Since it is never gonna be tagged commercial I would pull the tag axle off of it. I run a hundred pounds in mine for 18 to 19k it varies another truck I ran 50 as I got to light on the steer. Keep in mind to light on the tires and you'll lock them down first time you hit the brakes. I'd say start out at 40 and go from there. See if the ass end feels light or the front end.
  15. balance them. I just took 2 floats off. watch them balnce them if it needs more then 4 ounces make them move the rim 180 if it is just as bad the tire is out of round or has belt problems. Allignment might help but real doubtful. Just put 2 yokohamas on the front and no more bounce. Problem is more tire. If it didn't do it before this you know the problem. Take it back if they give you a hard time start going up the food chain. If you have to call corporate for whatever brand you got. If these are new they will make it right. A good threat is if you are going to be buying more tires tell them you will take your business elsewhere.
  16. This your trailer? What are you trading it for and whats with the wet kit?
