  5. Welcome to the jungle. Pics are always a good thing and welcomed around here
  6. Also another reason for the oven is I could never get the temps right. Go out every 15 mins and fire is low and heat low. Then put some wood on and it gets to hot got to open the top. Really want a green mountain pellet feeder just load wood pellets in and let it go for hours.
  7. What I've done is after getting tired of wasting a day of smoking I have smoked on the grill for 3 to 4 hours and then set in the over at 225 for another 12 to 16 hours. talk about tender. Oh yeah the house will smell like BBQ for days

  11. I was wondering how you where doing over there. Glad your doing good there and they are happy
  12. It is also application specfic. I guess I should of said that also. Every truck is spec'd differently.
  13. Welcome to the jungle and great save
  14. Hell thats worth getting lead flying by
  15. yeah started freezing up now it won't blow any cold air even if it sits all night. Been rolling with the windows down and damn dog looks like he is gonna stroke out. I get out and he is whinning and crying I feel bad for him. I just don't take the heat like I did when I was younger. Then overheating myself a few years ago has done a number on me.
  16. I said the same thing then went to work for Comcar industires out of Auburndale,Fl. 62 flat out on the pedal. it sucked. But tricounty it wasn't bad actually. Then I went to work for other people some governed trucks and others not. Last guy I drove for on the last truck he didn't cut it back. all his others where supposed to be 78 Mph but I got them to leave it up to 80. Now you say you'd never drive a 63 mph truck. I swore that also. Then I became an Owner Op. I rolled at 65 to 75 when I have to go I cruise at 75 to 80. But my normal speed now a days is 55 to 58 sometimes 60 and sometimes 65. I burn a hell of a lot less fuel,My tires and brakes run considerably cooler. and I find I am not as stressed. With the heat now it is no more then 55 and maybe alittle slower. When I can get out of the truck and wipe rubber off the tires you know they are hot. Also I run heavy and do keep up with air pressure as that makes or breaks tires, mileage and a few other things.
  17. Get a can of ground coffee and leave it in there. It will absorb the smell. Also make the truck smell like Coffee. We do that to get the dog smell out. also Cumin spice or cinnamon hides a lot of odors
  18. I always thought it was when they would come to an intersection and there was a Cat,Cummins, Or Mack on the other side it would turn tail and hide. Till it was all clear and not get embarresed.
  19. Denver right now looking for a shop to fix my A/C. Not going to do anything till it is fixed. Ran last summer with a broke ac and by god it isn't happening again Was looking at pricing out a reddot unit but little out of my range for now.
