  1. or bring a inverter and printer have everything emailed to you or have a fax program and print them out. Truckstops get real expensive. We print all permits and scan in loads from the truck. Downfall you need a signal
  2. It does work. just do it for like an hour or so then you can take the hose out of the tank and do as you want. I had my helmet and jacket on when I did it just incase it got lively but never had a problem
  3. What I was told when I was taking welding in Highschool. Take a hose and put it in the tail pipe of a gas car and the other end in the tank. The emmisson from the gas engine will kill, destroy or unable the Fumes to ignigte. Did this on a gas tank I had to cut into and Braze a new sending unit in. didn't blow myself apart. Think it had to be done for min an hour
  4. Little off topic but talking about accidents Where i loaded in Swisher,Ia well trying to load was in the shop this morning talking to them as they where haveing problems when the gm came out and told them one of the mechanics had gotten into an accident and died. I know it is somewhere around Des Moines this morning
  5. If I am not mistaken temp permits are like 15.00 a pop. could just base it out of Il then what I've been told by Dot is anything over 200 AIR MILES needs to be logged. and or crossing state lines. or hazmat. JJ keller is good. Also any company that does oversize over weight permits can also do Single trip and temp ifta. Some states also want routes to be traveled to put on the single trip permit for whatever reason even thought your not O.D. I use to use West Coast Permits for all my stuff. Also think you need to put not for hire on the truck.
