On my Superliner, there are two bulbs. One located on a round gray 'stand' about 2.5" diameter behind/beneath speedo. The second bulb lights the HVAC and is located on the right side of the HVAC unit. Neither of mine work. Bulbs light but the ribbons are shot.

That windshield and those daytons on the steer and the skinny pipes..... (drooling)

Got a hot lead on a company called "Bimba" that think they can set me up with the actuator.... only have to make a slight modification by remotely locating electric solenoid. Best part is the price. $22 for the cylinder! When i get the part/model #'s all hammered out, I'll be sure to share with you folks who want to get your actuator "actuating" I'm a stickler on things being correct.
