  1. 'WS747'.... she was a shiny 290, now she's a nifty 350.
  2. What an odd mutt. I like it. 68-f-model you gonna look it over for us... Suspension type(Reyco)? Jake? Mileage? I'm certainly interested. Spent time moving mobile homes perhaps? Anyone else notice the salesman's name is Will Ferral???
  3. Well, I decided to try VersaChem "Inferno Metal Repair" to patch the leak at the joint. May not make it out the driveway before blowing out. . .
  4. Talked to Barry... not the same one. Thanks for looking for me.... Ron
  5. Dipshit >>>>>Kevin McCarthy.....
  6. I had to Google 'HNIC'... Holy shit... learn something new every day.
  7. Mine leaks... any suggestions on fixing it?
  8. Jesus that looks like a lot of work.
  9. How about the cheapie Lowes or Home Depot alternatives.?? Have any experience with that stuff?
  10. I have heard that they should be changed every time a head is pulled.... I know this engine has been apart, but they must have reused most of the bolts. As a course of preventative maintenance should that be a concern for a truck I'd like to put to work?
  11. The F-series died as a work truck in 1997. . . just my opinion though. '61 was a cool truck...
  12. I have a hankering for a Christo Cola.
  13. Thanks, maybe I'll call Barry Monday. I spoke with Cody about it, but he ran into a dead end.
  14. Any idea why the Superliner was excluded though?????
  15. I've been perusing Western Mack pics now that I'm the proud owner of a '80 RW, and one thing I've noticed that puzzles me and was hoping for some insights: All the WS Cruiseliner's I've seen have the Bulldog cradled in a horseshoe donning a (ridiculous or is it curious?) cowboy hat. Why is this not-so-subtle nod to the truck's Western (including the spurs) origins missing on all the Hayward built Superliners? Ron
  16. I understand now why they're no longer available.... many trucks probably didn't use them
  17. I'm here to say that those A model bunks are a nice look. Match the cab better, although the Able matches the nose. . .decisions decisions.
  18. That looks great to me. I think I actually like it better than an Able bunk.
  19. That yellow B is titties
  20. Best guess would be that those 'newer' bolts were used to replace broken bolts? I've heard that broken bolts have been a problem....
