  1. Wishing all my friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy new Year! Ron
  2. Just because it comes of the Snap-on truck doesn't mean it's all made in the USA either. All the hard Snap-on tools I'm pretty sure are American made but a lot of, if not all the stuff in, in the Blue Point line is now made overseas. Was looking at a "Snap-on" 18 volt cordless 1/2" impact the other day, couldn't find a country of origin for the gun itself but the battery clearly read "made in China" Ron
  3. I've never had to do it but I'm sure it can be done. The oil pan is symmetrical and can be mounted either way. The oil pump has two inlet flanges, the one that's not used is covered by a blank plate. Ron
  4. From the bulldog's point of view that looks awfully painful! Ron
  5. Looks good Dave! Ron
  6. Just got off the phone with them Doug Christmas cards are still available Their phone # is (610) 264-9404 Ron
  7. Have a safe trip, and enjoy yourself. Ron
  8. What's with the cab, never saw one like that before? Ron
  9. Ain't that the truth Mark, they way a friggin' ton! Ron
  10. They did come installed from Brockway, I always thought they were installed as a favor to their customers. This picture was taken at the factory branch Erie and Castor Ave. Philadelphia, PA Mr. Charles Horner Sr. and my father Ralph G. Smith Jr. taking delivery of a new 260 in 1951 Take note of the other Brockways in the background! Ron
  11. No it isn't Mike, I took a double take too when I saw the"S" on the grille guard! Ron
  12. 17.5 as Jim said above regular profile tires were getting hard to find before we went out in 2010 low pro 21575R17.5 or 23575R17.5 not cheap, and pain in the ass to mount (not much sidewall flex) Biggest downfall is the brakes 121/4"x71/2", doesn't stop like 161/2" brakes and don't last as long Ron
  13. Try getting in and out of a "U" model with an "R" model door threshold in it!! Ron
  14. B&W part, I would think it was still available Ron
  15. Hit the tilt ray switch, turn them puppies down! Ron
  16. Like Mike said Randy, 500C Luberfiner crosses to a Baldwin C704-L Ron
  17. I agree with kscarbel, use National, but I would upgrade to a 380022A Teflon seal Ron
  18. The older trucks had 5/8-11 studs on the front wheels again a regular 5/8" inch nut would have a 15/16" hex, but the 5/8-11 rim clamp nuts have a 1-1/16" hex on them. If you go back even farther some of the Dayton wheels on the rear axle also had 5/8" studs on them. Ron
  19. Ken The rim clamp nuts are 3/4"-N.C. But the hex size on the rim clamp nuts aren't the normal 1-1/8" The 3/4" rim clamp nuts are special nuts that have a 1-1/4" hex size. Ron
  20. Happy Birthday Randy! Maybe someone will bake you an Alpine Green Birthday cake! Ron
  21. Glad you're OK Mark. We were getting kind of worried about you. Very sorry for your loss, friends like you are hard to find! Ron
