  1. Mark, that's what I call going to the dogs. A Bulldog pulling a Great Dane, not to mention all the other ones along the bottom of the trailer! Ron
  2. Because of the length laws, measuring from farthest point on the front of the tractor, the length laws were so tight they worried about the Dog making the vehicle over length, Believe it or not! Ron
  3. Congratulations Randy, now you're gona have to get a sedan cab Mack fire truck! Ron

  6. The buffer screw you're referring to I've only seen on a 2 stroke Detroit. Usually when a Mack does this the flyweights in the governor are worn and as stated above the pump should be removed and sent to a reputable pump shop for repair and recalibration. Ron
  7. I don't what became of it, just because it went there doesn't necessarily mean it was cut up. To our surprise one of our horse trailers that went there, a 1950 Gramm, was actually purchased by someone wanting to restore and use it! I'd like to think #245 met with the same fate, next time I'm over that way I'll have to stop by and ask what did happen to it. Heck one of our old H-67's that went over there ended up in Ohio! Ron
  8. Nice looking torsion bar "F" model in the background! Ron
  9. Happy Easter everybody! Ron
  10. Yeah, I noticed that too, Wouldn't want to try to find one of them! Ron
  11. Sorry Vinny, It went to Cohen's scrap yard in Thorndale, Pa. about 9 years ago. I have no idea where it went from there? Ron

  14. If you buy it Mike, I'll send you a box of tach charts!!! Ron
  15. Good luck with your project Bobby, how about some pictures? Ron
  16. On the old tie rods that have the R.H. thread on both ends you DON'T have to remove the ends to set the toe! That's why there are fine threads on one end and coarse threads on the other. I can't remember which side had the coarse threads on it for sure but as an example say the coarse threads are on the R.H. side if you turn the tube up on the R.H. side the tie rod will become shorter and decrease the toe in and vice versa! Think about it for a while, it will make sense. Ron
  17. Welcome to the nuthouse! Ron
  18. Sorry about that! Couldn't see well through the rim in the first picture to see whether the front was tube or tubeless. Also figured that the truck was built with the same size wheels all they way around. I think it's odd that it has 22" wheels on the rear and 24" wheels on the front. Ron
  19. Vlad 11R22.5's are the tubeless tires that fit on 20" dayton wheels. 11:00x24 or 12:00x24 are tube type 24" inch tires and fit on 24" dayton wheels, these only come tube type there is no tubeless equivalent for them. Ron
  20. The rears are 11:00x22 tube type. The fronts are 1124.5 tubeless. look at the rims they're different. The dayton wheels are 22" inch diameter. 11:00x22 tube type change over to 1124.5 for tubeless tires but will both fit on the 22" dayton wheels. Same goes for 10:00x20 tube type, they change over to 1122.5 tubeless but will both fit on 20" dayton wheels. Ron
  21. Great story Mike, looks like it had your name on it all these years, congratulations! Ron
  22. Thanks Mark, great picture! Ron
  23. If you do like Glenn says, and scribe the tires it doesn't matter if they have a slight wobble in them or not. It has no effect on measuring the toe in. Ron
  24. Welcome aboard! Ron
