  1. Congratulations, nice looking dog, best of luck with him! Ron
  2. You said it all Randy! Great guy, always a pleasure talking with him! Ron
  3. Looks great Ray, good luck with it! Ron
  4. Welcome back stranger, we've missed you! Ron
  5. Don't order a lot from either anymore but as far as I'm concerned if McMaster doesn't have it you don't need it! One time I remember needing metric steel tubing for repairing the brakes on a Mudslimer. Needed the truck on Sunday ordered the tubing from McMaster Carr on Friday with a Saturday delivery, got her done! Ron
  6. It's gotta get better than this before I'd learn to like it! Ron
  7. Congratulations, you should be very proud, as I'm sure you are! Ron
  8. Justin The correct rim size for 11R24.5's is 24.5 X 8.25 open rim. Ron
  9. The bundle goes back in in a certain position so the oil flows all the way through the cooler. If you look at the end with the flange on it you will notice one side has a small notch cut in the edge. This notched side should be installed pointing toward of the top of the housing in line with the oil tubes. Ron
  10. Where are you Ken, anybody heard from him? Ron
  11. There are adjustment sleeves built into the middle of the control cables to adjust the throw to the different doors. If the cables aren't broken and are still fixed on the control head "I've seen them break off of there too" you can usually get some more movement from the cables by turning the adjustment sleeves one way or the other (either shorten or lengthen the cable). Ron
  12. How about R-L carriers from Ohio, lot of green Visions! Ron
  13. We had a '64 VCO International that was like this. I think the only reason it was like this was because they used a Sealco valve to control the spring brakes rather than a Bendix. They both do the same job just work backwards from each other. Ron
  14. Al, I know of an "ED" that has a "custom built" plaque like that in it too!
  15. I agree Mark, The "L" model cab probably wasn't as well constructed as the "B" model cab but it damn sure had a lot more room in it! Used to get a kick out of somebody maneuvering a "B" model in tight spots, kept accidentally blowing the horn! Ron
  16. What's with the wipers on the top of the windshield? In these two pictures and in the movie Police Academy are the only two times I've ever seen a "B" model with over head wipers! Ron
  17. The first Mack tilt cab was the H-60/61 brought out in 1953. It had a mechanical screw jack located on the R.H. side. Ron
  18. Happy Birthday Vinny, hope you have a great day! Ron
  19. Al, If you put a horseshoe on it I'd have to do a double take! Ron
  20. Mike, Kind of reminds you of the Oldsmobile truck that the Beverly Hillbillies had! Ron
