  1. What style wheel does it have? If it's a 2000 I thought it would be a 2 spoke soft touch wheel. In that case just pry the center (trapezoid shaped) piece out of the wheel, it just snaps in with metal clips and unplug the wire. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  2. You can use an Harmonic Balancer puller (one with the bolts). Steering wheel is usually drilled for the puller bolts. Remove horn sounder pad, thread bolts through yoke into wheel and then use forcing screw against shaft to pull wheel . Next time you have the truck out take notice where the wheel sits when you're going down a straight stretch of road. Site it up with something (spoke in relation to turn signal switch arm)? anything so you can remember where to position it before you pull the wheel. That way you can pull it and reposition it to where you want it to be when you're going straight down the road. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. I guess I'm confused(doesn't take much!), I thought from the first post that he just wanted to reposition the wheel. He didn't say anything about it wandering. Maybe I read it wrong? Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. That would take the steering gear out of center. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. 1.2 million? I thought it had more than that on it, closer to 2 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. Spot on Jim, I have an old rack setting gauge I used to to use along with a depth mike to measure how far the piston extended from the puff limiter cylinder. Ron
  7. Let me think on that for awhile Greg!! Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  11. They don't need to be long, the original ones weren't. 1/4" would be a fine length for the part that goes down in the head too! Ron
  12. Maxi miser was a trade name for a dual stage governor setup on the injection pump. Air would be diverted to the governor on injection pump in all gears except high gear. This would allow the engine to wind out in all gears except high gear. When the transmission was in high gear the air supply to the governor would be shut off and limit the RPMs to cut down the speed and increase the fuel economy. 15. When ASF made their 400C fifth wheel you didn't need lights whistles or any other gadgets. They were, in my opinion, the best fifth wheels ever made. As long as the trailer was sitting level on the wheel and the handle was down under the safety latch it was locked!!! The jaws in those wheels had a damn sight more then a crossbar behind the pin too! Ron
  16. It's a shame there's a need to make stuff like this, in my opinion. There should be more qualified drivers so they wouldn't have to make idiot proof fifth wheels! Ron
  17. Looks good! Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  18. No #141 was an H-61 diesel, the one Tony has is #146 which was an H-60 with an EN464 Thermodyne gas engine in it. There were 10 of them in all. 6 H-61s, 1 H-60, and 3 H-613s, they were all originally painted the same as #141 Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  19. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Something like this Jim? Credit to photographer
  20. Looks like a B&W (Bendix) switch, used to be two basic ones internally grounded or externally grounded Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  21. I don't know about a west coast R model with the ENDT864 in it but the '67 F719T we had came from the factory with single 5" exhaust. If you're trying to keep it original I would check with the Mack Museum. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  22. I don't know about a kit, I used to buy the "O" rings, the seal, and a new shaft. That would fix it. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  23. Some of the older END sixes and E6s were mounted on the back of the compressor. E7's were mounted on the front of the timing gear cover. They were all driven off the auxiliary shaft. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
