  3. What year E7, is it an E-Tech or does it have a pump on it? Engine brake or no engine brake? Ron
  4. Happy birthday, have a good one! Ron
  5. That would be pretty tough to do, there's a roll pin between two teeth in the drive and a low tooth in the celeron coupling on the pump that would not allow you to do this.! It can only go on one way! Ron
  6. We had a B-61T that we bought used in N.J. that had an off yellow steering wheel in it, never saw one before nor since. B-61T 48390. The H60T we had had a beige steering wheel like the the ones in your's and Doug's trucks. H-60T 1043. Ron
  7. Look in Hemmings Motor News, People list chrome plating services even for plastic pieces, don't know what it would cost but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Ron
  8. Looking for a windshield regulator for "E" series trucks part #3QT32-P1

  11. Brocky, No, I'm sorry to say, it's just a memory! Ron
  12. Skip I don't no the difference between the PSM and PSJ pumps but i'm with you on the amount of ENDT-864's built. There had to be more than 34, our truck was F-719T-1093 that would make it the 93rd F model built with the ENDT-864, and that's just one model. You were talking about close quarters for the, accelerator linkage, try changing the accelerator return spring on the governor lever, especially when it was hot!!! Ron
  13. The ENDT-864 had the rotary American Bosch PSM or PSJ pump. We had one in a '67 "F" model F719T-1093 it was unit #189 The END(T)-864 had 10-11/16 head studs with old fashioned asbestos sandwich style head gaskets. They were very prone to blowing head gaskets, the turbo'd one was even worse. We kept a spare head gasket and manifold gaskets under the mattress in the bunk of #189 for problems out on the road. Not that the driver was going to fix it but these things were just exotic enough that no one usually had parts in stock for them. This way we eliminated the parts problem. END(T)-864 head gaskets went through quite a few revisions over the years I think the last ones were "E"'s at the end of the part#. Ron
  14. END(T) -864's the grand daddy of them all used the same gasket, I would think you should be able to get them from a B&W distributor. I think this was called the "fox head flange". Ron
  15. Skip The ENDT-864 had two turbos-kept the breeze hose clamp co. in business! Ron
  16. David Don't mind me, call it a brain fart!! Your absolutely right, I wasn't thinking, 22.5 rims won't fit on 22" wheels!! I think part of the problem is our nomenclature, to me Budd or steel disk wheels mount on hubs------ open rims mount on Dayton or spoke wheels. So I kind of confused myself---not that hard to do! Either way you say it the only way to go is to find a set of used 11R24.5's and a set of used 24.5 x 8.25 rims. Ron
  17. You should be able to find used 22.5 x 8.25 tubeless rims at a reasonable price, they used to be pretty common and you could use the tires from your departments engine. Be aware these will not be the same overall size as your old tires, they will be smaller and will give you less road speed. The better option would be to find a good set of used 11-24.5 tires along with a set of used 24.5 x 8.25 tubeless rims this will keep everything basically the same as original and would be much safer in the long run. 10.00-20 tube type= 11-22.5 tubeless 10.00-22 tube type= 11-24.5 tubeless Ron
  18. Dave, I think the next thing I would do is pull the compressor, that's the next logical place to look. Ron
