  1. Rich, the vin is 1M1AK07Y35N004466 You might need the whole number, last time they used the last four it cost me with a $8600.00 "mistake" so they tell me. Bought a transmission and clutch and it was a ride height adjustment. They got that wrong by 3+ inches.
  2. Came down the hill and I think I lost a turbo, any Mack mechanics around that want some work and have access to a new turbo or an after market perfomance one for a 460P call me. Thanks,Mark 207-460-8877 I'm at the international dealer, their closed of course.
  3. All I can say is if Bush only had four more years, this country would be a completly different place. Take it anyway you like.
  4. WOW, I never thought I liked girls volley ball, but you know what,I'm gaining a whole new perspective of the sport.
  5. Little too much info!!!
  6. Thats the one, I was just a few minutes from that pull on the other side of the river, saw you on the Pa side. Nice to see BMT members on the road. On a 34 hr lay over in Virginia started Friday at 3:00, worked on the truck, get another day in tomorrow fixing littles. Fixed the sleeper AC today. No cost. Better then 99.00 an hour for parts changers. Only way to make money on the road these days. Another GD reefer next to me again.
  7. Strong little bugger, holding the truck up so it doesn't flop over for the picture? Most guys use an oak 4x4 or the factory optional kickstand, but those were costly so you don't see many. There is a picture of one on bmt somewhere.
  8. I've been running the Mack from 1400 to 1740, wrong!! I found this on the computer on the dash. Mack says lug it to 1200 then split or shift up to 1400 or 1600 and lug it again to 1200. Up shift at 1600. Well, I have run two loaders up through the hills of Pa,NY, and Ct. the second one was heavier. I used Macks methods the second run, here are the results. It crested the hills at a higher speed 2 to 3 mph The turbo boost was 3 to 4 pounds higher The engine heat was lower The pyrometer heat was lower The fuel milage was better Seems there is nothing but good from the 1200 to 1600 or down from 1400 1600 to 1200 recomended cruise rpm 1700+ or - 50 rpm. Mine runs 1650@ 65 Sitting in a NY truck stop, headed to Fla via 81 and 84 one more time.
  9. My Vision is 1650@65mph 4:30 rear gears, I just had the valves adjusted which effects the engine brake, well at least thats when you adjust the engine brake side. I really don't feel it much, but if you shut it off, you realize it is doing something. Had the window down the other day and noticed it when I shifted, could hear it, blurp a little.
  10. Saw a white Superliner with a midroof in Pa just beyond the Delaware headed west yesterday or the day before, I have seen it on the board, who is that, nice truck.
  11. I'm on the road again, first trip, Maine to Pa back to NH with a loader. On the way down there was a Subaru wagon that had spun out and hit the passing lane gaurd rail several times rotating. Both doors were open, one person on the ground not moving and one slumped across the front not moving. I don't think the outcome was very good. Alot of crazy drivers out there. Sitting in Pa tonight, Carlisle, loading in the am, another new loader and back to NH by tomorrow night, then? Who knows.
  12. Thats a great looking trailer. There is one setting in a guys yard up here but its steel, rounded front though, single axle too. Has alot of surface rust. Could be cleaned up easy.
  13. Vinny did you click on the picture and read the fine print, it was a factory option, I've seen alot of guys park next to light poles or carry a oak 4x4 with them, never knew they offered an option. Sweet, but I'm sure rare.
  14. Whats better, Jake or Power leash? On a Mack.
  15. I think you have a Dynatard, which is what the "power Leash" replaced because it was so much better lol.
  16. It ain't no Jake. Doesn't do much does it. I have one of those "Power Leash" engine brakes, first off, there ain't no power, not enough for a leash. Never even thought of my brakes as far as wear on the C15, the engine break would stop 120,000 on 6% in any gear. Plan on break jobs a little more often.
  17. Who says Olive is grown up, let me clue you in right now, you never grow up, you just grow older. We are all kids inside forever. Bigger boys, bigger toys, thats all.
  18. Your upset because he beat you to it!!!! Everyone knows U models can't pull tankers, with the sloshing of liquid and the offset cab, well, need I say anymore?
  19. Who would have ever thought a 50 Chevy was the wave of the future, well maybe in 49, that is so close it's incredible. If you don't learn from history your bound to repeat it. Can't wait till the 58 comes out.
  20. Honest I wasn't smokin' nothin'!!!! Think green save the pixels
  21. I was just at our local Mack dealer spending more money, so I asked them about the Titan and why they don't have one. He said they had one and it sold and another is coming. So I asked why no sleepers on a Titan, and he said you can get what you want for a sleeper through their custom shop. So you can get one. Now if this one will make money instead of spending it, maybe I could afford one.
  22. Thanks, mine is a little different but I think it can be done by what you say. I have the computer in the center of the dash with buttons under it and also have the two you talk about on each side of the wheel on the dash. Man my typing was off when I typed the header for this question.
  23. Just don't forget to put the kickstand down if your going to leave the drivers door open. We all know what happens if you don't.
  24. My favorite game, I just coached a winter league. My boy is 11 and he catches. He was on the little league all stars last year and they came real close to winning state. You really have to get over being hit and take controll of the batters box, that is your space, put it to good use. Ever been running, fell and scraped your knee? Did you give up running. Or bang your hand wrenching on a truck and gave the truck away? Same thing. Very seldom do you get hit. If you keep your eye on the ball you will see were it's going in plenty of time, thats how you get good hits. You must have a good eye and a strong arm if you pitch.
  25. I enjoy your enthusiasum for U models. Glad to see a youngster have an interest and a passion for something besides their cell phone. I always look for your comments because I know you are genuinely interested. I hope my joking with you wasn't taken the wrong way, I am only joking with you because I feel your part of the family.
